  1. Winds look pretty strong for LPB.
  2. IMHO, you want them for Kings when using braid or wire.
  3. So, the kids are big enough that a minivan is no longer required. Fortunately, the warden signed off on a new truck! Went the Tundra Crewmax with the 5.7L.........381hp and 401 ft lbs torque. Definately overkill for my needs, but what the heck! Here is a pic of the new ride: Now, I just need to figure out how to change my board handle......

  5. My 16'7" has a 90" beam and it handles the big water pretty well. As stated by Sinker, I do have to pick my days. :-)
  6. Well, that was the plan - but it didn't play out exactly that way.....we discovered that Lake Ontario Salmon fishing and sleeping aren't very compatible!
  7. Time to come Salmon fishing???
  8. We ran a bunch of glow in the dark spoons, but no takers. Just wanted to try it once, next time I'll sleep in to 3:30. :-)
  9. Love my Navigator as well!!!
  10. Grabbed a couple of pizzas and launched out of Bronte at 11pm Saturday night with Iceguy and another buddy. We worked hard through the night, trying everything in our arsenal. We fished skinny, we fished deep - we used copper, dipseys on wire, dipseys on braid, mono off the riggers, SWR off the riggers, 2 core, 5 core, 10 core, 18 core....spoons, flashers and flies, meat....... Well, when the sun came up, it smiled on us - and we were rewarded for our hard work. Going 6/8 by 10am, with a couple of teens....one is below. Then, we started to get some weight with this lovely....complete with the 'Lew' smile! Not to be outdone, Iceguy landed this 22lb hog. Overall, a great time was had by all.....now we keep our fingers crossed for the $500! :-)
  11. Nice work Dax - almost Musky time.......

  15. Congrats on the new ride!
  16. Steve provided some good information on what has been producing, showed some kewl pics of his customers and let people know about the derby. Give the guy a break.....

I will be out of the office for the next two weeks for medical reasons. When I return, please refer to me as 'Lucille' instead of Steve.
  21. Used them off of the boards - I ran the Musky diver, had to move the weights all the way forward on the board and then it was OK. Also learned a trick on how to get the clip to hold stronger... As per SP, I will add them to the spread, mainly off the boards - occasionally as a tail gunner. :-)
  22. Well, the 7500 yds is a bit short, but I'm good with the caddy part....
  23. Set-up looks good - I cast with 65lb PP and troll with 80lb PP, and no issues so far. I have used 50lb PP for casting in the past, and had some issues.
