  1. My wife, kids' and I were there a few weekends ago and had a good time too. In your travels are you going to pass through the "city"? If you get anywhere near Bay and Richmond in the day drop me a line as my office is there.
  2. very nice pic's!
  3. Ya sure? Randy emailed me today saying he cannot get it. I'm just going to get off of luremaking.com (if they ever get back to me)... But thanks all.
  4. okay, i see. it's all this damn accounting homework messing with my brain. that's it. time to go find a beer...
  5. Now, why wouldn't you just keep the bottom element in place, lower a rack to sit on in and use the pan to have the chips smoke? No need to cut a hole now... Unless for some reason the element would cause an arc? If you go with the gas way how's about this? remove all the bad/melting stuff and get a bbq burner and hose and place it in the drawer. All you would need to do there is cut and protect a small hole for the gas line to run out. The the whole base of the inside would get warm and if you drilled a few holes in the base it would then allow for more heat to get through. The base would act as a drip pan as well as your bowl for the chips. As long as you don't have the chips sitting over a heat hole then there shold be no fire in the main chamber. I'm just thinking here of ways to do it and it may not work at all... just saying...
  6. My dad was a cop until I was 6. I was one of those kids' growing up that figured I could get away with anything because of it. BOOOY was I WRONG! What's worse was everyone on the street knew he was a cop. So when the fire dept. pull up and haul me out of the truck after nearly burning down a small forest, it didn't go over well... All the kids' in the area disappeared as they knew what was going to happen. As Russell Peters said “Somebody gonna get a-hurt real bad". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nn5jlrxcpkI&feature=related Did I mention I too had a bbgun? Because my dad was a cop I was taught about the dangers and use of guns at a very young age. Alas, he did quit being a cop when he found me playing with the revolver...
  7. That's just baaaaaaaaad...
  8. Any idea what they charge for shipping Roy? *edit* the shipping cost more then the product, HAHAHA
  9. Hey all. I want to paint up some jig's this winter and I was wondering if anyone here has used this product before. Where can I get it locally too? Thanks.
  10. Thanks and because of the design I won't have to. I just wish I purcahsed 2 of those craft boards. That's why I had to stop for the day... Otherwise I would have finished the fabrication in one day...
  11. back off Wayne, I was going to ask if he's coming to the BOQ G2G and if so what site he's at...
  12. I think it's a great idea! What about even doing a modification to make it a gas unit?
  13. Thanks Wayne.
  14. Here is what I have built so far today. The base of each leg is not done yet (ran out of the craft wood I was using) and I still need to make the "headboard" and "footboard" as well. Then sand & paint.
  15. Thanks!
  16. just a hyundai for now till I get better at my wood working skills. for the price, I was shocked how easy it was to use and how well it works. I have 90% of the bunkbeds done already and I started around lunch (been done for 2 hours now too). All I need to do is the top cross piece and the dowel and they are done. Oh and a bit left of the "feet" as I ran out of wood.
  17. that last pic is funny, nice.
  18. I went with an 18g one.
  19. What is a good pin nailer to get for around $100 to do this project? My compressor hits 100 or so psi.
  20. Now how are you going to water test them when the lake is frozen?
  21. It's to early to tell but I may build a few things. Another toy box, full wall entertainment unit, frame the basement... duno yet... it's all a matter of time and money so...
  22. I picked up some of the wood today to try and get bed one of the two started tomorrow. So far only $40.00 spent too but I may need more items. Now I need to run out and get the finishing nailer for my compressor.
  23. Hey Sinclair, thanks again for coming over to show me those plans! I'm heading out wood shopping later today.
  24. Cool, I will connect with you just after lunch then as I have someone coming over at 10:00AM for an hour or so. PM pending for addy.
