I was a work and one of the other sales guys was listening to Howard too. I heard Greg yell "what the hell!!!" and then he told us what he was hearing on the radio. I was on the phone with my sister wishing her a happy 31st b-day when it all started. I told her to turn on the tv as this was a b-day she will never forget. we (the folks at work) then found an old tv and started watching too as everything unfolded live right before our eyes. every time I went out for a smoke all I would do is look to the sky and notice just how quite it was. our office was close to a small airport just North of Toronto (Buttonville) so we would see and hear planes all day long, not that day though...

uni-uni here too. I just take 2 or 3 more wraps with the braid around the floro leader to make sure it holds and still no prob. it's not too bad to tie in the wind if you can duck down or turn your back then. just wet the braid a bit so it's less likely to blow around in the wind. that works for me...
