Ice More Northern Pike By Tyler Dunn Winter has fallen upon us and anglers throughout Ontario have begun to switch gears from the open water to hard water. I love Canada. I love northern Ontario. I love the fact that where I live there are 4 distinct seasons, each with its own little batch of problems. Its winter... I think we can all agree on that. We have at least a foot of blowing snow here and much more overnight. I had a hard time with my 4 wheeler, getting to the end of my driveway tonight where the snowplow on the transcanada highway is down to one lane and has seen fit to put the other lanes in my driveway... It was an adventure!! Its like this every year... it was like this last year ... and it will be like this next year. I live here and I expect it... I love it!!! It's called Canada.... in the winter. ... but if I have to listen to one more Toronto newscaster on the TV whine about how bad the weather is there today.... and how the hotdog vendors couldn't sell hotdogs today .. or how the skating rinks were empty...... someones gonna wind up looking like Koscheck.... can someone from the GTA please go and explain to them where they live... in Canada.. please.... There. I feel better, thanks for listening.

Here's two things that Ive noticed since high school.. so 30 +/- years ago. I worked at a gas station, I made $3.85 an hour, and gas was .40 cents a liter. min wage is now above $10 per hour, so gas is pretty much the same in comparison to min wage. ($1.08) in Sturgeon this morning. Also, I remember going to Zellers for jeans and them always being $20 a pair for the ones I liked which were not the expensive ones.. Now I still get the jeans I wear for around $20 a pair, so they are way cheaper in comparison now then they were then.

LOL.. ya... ive seen that before....

Looks like they have moved us to another server again.. said it was a hardware issue.. Even with the hiccups, were still up 99 percent of the time, its just sucks when it goes down. Seems pretty quick to me today. I think what happens, (although its hard to get this from the isp) is that they have more than one client on a particular server and load that server up to capacity and every 6 months or so strange things happen and some "larger' clients need to be moved. I imagine going to our own managed server would help, but that is cost prohibitive. Why don't we change just ISP's you ask, well we host with the same people that designed the software, so that there can be no blame game.. i.e. the host telling us its the software causing the problem, and then the software designer telling us its a hardware problem, nothings perfect....

Were dealing with it.... lol.. well support's dealing wit it... we will keep at them till were 100%
