Did TM fit the bill for high profile??? If so, did he agree with the others or tell ya the best is he?
-
Yep, orgy was right. Blew my load all over the place. lol.
-
What I think is, that Rich isn't really sure and is easily swayed to agree with whatever, as long as it doesn't get him into too much trouble... but yet, still creates enough of a stir to keep him interested.

Great job Corey. Hope you have a good year next year too. New PB for weight on a walleye, new PB pike, new PB sturgeon and first ever muskie. Achieved all 4 goals I wrote out last january as well and, made a few first magazine publications. Along the way got to spend some great days out with friends and family fishing. Can't rank much better than that... although next year I'm already planning for better.
-
I would agree with both things said. Weight and, nice fish.

Live bait. Can I have more than one minnow or worm though...?
-
I'm with fallfish. And yep, they do make great bait.

Some great looking fish Mike. I'd love to bag a first Ontario coho one of these days. Can't believe you murdered them little preciouses. Sin I tell ya.

1. Go back to a year or so ago when it started and think about anything in your life that changed or had been changing up to the point where the problem for you began. If there is something you feel could be a contributing factor to your present health, look to fix that. Some things can be small... but over time have bigger impact, keep that in mind. 2. Consider that you are getting older and slowing down every second of your life. 3. Do that labwork that your doctor will order. If all results come back OK consider your mental status. Depression and/or stress are very common contributors to things such as CFS, fatigue, or the opposites such as insomnia and restlessness. Remember though, CFS is not a diagnosis; no more than say nausea and vomiting, what fatigue is is a behaviour or effect caused by something(s) else. Few ideas for ya anyway.

Where would you live if you could live anywhere
Moosebunk replied to grt1's topic in General Discussion
http://www.outdoorcanada.ca/fish/best_towns4.shtml If I could live anywhere I wouldn't mind up around... hmmm... Red Lake. Two other besides the Ontario one's at the link would be, North Bay area but towards Mattawa or Martin River, or Ottawa area but either towards Renfrew or Perth. January 2009 and I'll be starting to look to plan my move too. -
Geez Lew, walleye takes on a whole different meaning to you. Thanks for sharing that. Awesome but emotional read.

Fishing there is fantastic. Do yourself a fave though, book 7 days. You could have bad flying weather keep you off the lake, and, you could have bad lake conditions make it harder to pattern the fish depending on the season you pick. Three days is too much risk for things to go wrong and you end up being short-changed.

Lew, here's what I posted earlier this month when someone else asked... Considered at one point to be ICAST's "Best In Show," I might have to call it, "Garbage I Know." Pretty solid add compaigning. You could find this line anywhere. I picked up two spools last Xmas. Spooled an Abu Cardinal C3 spinning and an ultralight Quantum reel. Both saw a fair bit of testing with this line over the course of the year. 20 and 10lb test. Out of the box I was like "WHAT THE FEEERAWK???" This is weird brittle stuff that kinks like wire. Figured though with it's heavy teflon-like treatment it should be smooth... well it was not, not at all. The line frayed like no other. It frayed and kept fraying and got noisy. The woven strands in the line came unwoven and retying every time you could find somewhere on the line where the strands had separated. Knots slipped. This happens, sometimes with any line, but this line more than others. And it was a palomar every time. For ice fishing it doesn't repel ice any better than any other line and is therefor pretty much same as any line on the ice. The one OK thing I could say about it though, was for garbage it seemed pretty tough. When I got hung up the line would hold strong as any other but, instead of a bent hook like say, on a jig, what would happen is the knot would slip too easy. Two spooled up outfits with this line, January to October, two thumbs down.

Ohhh I know, I know... Dan, your favorite is the bass right??? lol.

I think Cliff it's because they are founded in nearly every province. Their range is great and so it's a fish many people across the country are familiar with and have had opps to fish for. Their taste is amongst the best and ODC says walleye is Canada's top sportfish, this in relation I'd bet to those who fish sportingly but for sustinence as well. And, they're not just a beginners fish, as, shore opportunities and simple newbie tactics would not often work. To be a good walleye angler through all 4 seasons would mean really "being into" angling, as to catch them consistently takes know-how, a number of tools and dedication.

plastic wrap, then plastic wrap, then plastic wrap again. TIGHT. Never put water in, don't have a prob with freezer burn. Ideally, vacuum sealing is da bomb.

Trippin' Deep Into Cheepas Pike Land. Report.
Moosebunk replied to Moosebunk's topic in General Discussion
Cached 17 gallons near the mouth of the Cheepas a few days before leaving for the trip. Took a total of about 25 gallons but in the end burned only 17 or so. Downriver run home from 55km + 32km only used about 2 1/2 - 3 gallons, the upriver part is obviously the fuel burner. -

Yeah Chris... totall agree. LOL. Was cool fitting Kev into one of my home reports for a change. Had we not hit the cabin that first night I was going to get a pic of him standing on the railroad tracks hitch-hiking with his little hobo bundle pack on a stick. ahaha. -
Minipi for brookies. Ungava for char, atlantics and brookies. Mongolia for taimen. Great Bear and the Tree for lakers and char. The Alta for atlantics. Great Barrier for shark. Anywhere for tarpon and bones. Cabo for marlin. Skeena for steelhead. Peru for browns. Any one will do.
