  1. Thanks for all the help guys! My builder is looking in to it
  2. Have a question for you. Need some help. Thanks
  3. I took my new kayak out on its maiden voyage at Shades mill conservation area. I hadn't paddled a kayak in 20 years but it was like riding a bike. I had a bit of success and caught 2 snot rockets. One was about 18" and the other was 16". Not a bad day http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e285/GraphingAddict/98A6E58B-5455-478B-BE8D-0A9E49FD9E71_zpsaaiw6unq.jpg http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e285/GraphingAddict/A31D0ECC-0743-469A-9025-109EC09171AC_zpssbwr4jky.jpg
  4. Lol I know It's sitting in my sister in laws garage since mine is a make shift wood shop that has zero room in it
  5. So, I've always wanted one and now that my inlaws have a cottage in a small lake paradise I decided to start looking. I got a call from my wife saying that there was a big sale at Sail so I drove over to Sail in cambridge and saw one that I was looking at $200 off. So I now have a Pelican Maverick 120. A nice 12'. I was told because of my size and because I'll be fishing from it, a 12' was necessary so I have a more stable base. Can wait to take it out!
  6. Hey All, I'm in the market for a rain suit. Can anyone recommend one that's not too expensive that's a decent quality? I got wet way too many times this week and decided that I need one lol Thanks
  7. I heard its swampy when it gets hot in the summer....
  8. what the hell? That's not good.......how unprofessional
  9. I'd carry all the time. I'm used to it already. But then again most places I go I feel completely safe because I'm always aware of my surroundings.
  10. The weather here on the Bruce has been brutal. I managed to get me ten year old and seven year old out to fish for the first time this year. My oldest got two decent smallies both about 1lbs and fought like hell. My youngest is a gobie slayer lol. I went out this morning and it was 16 degrees, rain and 25kmph winds and was unpleasant without a rain suit lol
  11. Is there a lot of shore access along the river?
  12. Awesome thanks! There are several year round people that I've met so far. It's an amazing area
  13. I know I will, I just have to convince my wife she will tol
  14. So, I got the okay from my wife to start fishing again which is fantastic. I still have a bit of my gear - I think. I found all my rods, my waders and boots, hell even some of my old boxes of lures.... too bad I can't find my good reels lol.... On the positive note I get to go shopping!
  15. Lol it's all good. I'm the one encouraging my inlaws. Every property in the area is well maintained and the one they bought was neglected for 8 years so you can understand that it needs a little work but man I can see red bay from the porch. Such a gorgeous calm area
  16. I was up there 48 hrs to help clean and get their cottage in order and man, the fresh air just melted the stress away
  17. Hey guys, My inlaws just bought a cottage in Mer, on the Bruce Peninsula. They are 5 minutes from sauble falls and I'm going to be getting back into fishing. I was wondering if there would be native trout still in the river near the falls or will I be hooking into bass? Thanks for the help, I couldn't find much of anything in terms of info on line.
  18. Take a look at homeaway.ca and you'll find something
  19. The grand has receded where I am, but I think the nith is still swollen
