  1. I have trying to keep up with this debate but I don't know what "THIS" means.
  2. Nice reports guys!
  3. Just how expensive are these pieces of art anyway? Jim
  4. Would this by chance, be a FINFO-MERCIAL?
  5. What a great year of fishing. I'm more envious though of the fact that you can cut all your hair off and grow it back in the same year. Nice job. Jim
  6. Wow! Great posts. Thanks for making me actually consider eating fish as a snack. Best wishes to you and your family. Jim
  7. I don't subscribe to the WFN, and the basic cable to which I do subscribe does not include the SCORE. I do like to watch the 1 minute tips on the FOF website though. Perhaps I could win a dish instead of a T-shirt so that I could see the show. Jim
  8. Thanks Matt, and same to you! Jim
  9. Great report! Well done and thanks for taking the time. Merry Christmas too! Jim
  10. Hey Patriot, did anyone tell you about the "Get North!" tab at the top of this page? There are tons of choices there. Jim
  11. What does OT stand for?
  12. Has anyone noticed that Wall-mart has some of their Rapalas on for $7.00? On Rapalas, when it comes to fishing I am as lazy as a spotted dog, and love nothing more than trolling around dragging a Rapala. I have caught a boat load of fish on regular and jointed silver and black, and gold and black. I am starting to buy more deep divers just to try to get to different levels of the lakes. Love the Rapala! Jim
  13. What a fantastic gift. Congratulations! Jim
  14. Happy Birthday kid!!!

  16. The bigger concern to people buying new boats is the dollar and the fact that is back to where it was a while back. Your Canadian dealer has to buy the boat from the manufacturer at $1.25 (or whatever) unlike last year when he was buying it for par or better. Perhaps even, if you have a one year old boat you might be able to sell it for what you paid for it. Or if you were going to buy new it might pay to look at 2008 stock left in the showroom at the dealers as he paid less for it. Interesting times indeed.
  17. Nope they're good for life!
  18. I got mine last year at the boat show. No pass = no pay. I didn't study or anything and only got three wrong. In fact, I had no intention of writing anything but the girl (who was rather cute) button holed me and I felt I had to write it to prove my manhood. I showed her! If you have ever been near a boat and walk more or less upright, you shouldn't have any problem with the test.
  19. I talked to the kid at BPS about the Garmin there and afterward felt dumber than when I started. What I did walk away from it with is that when you buy the hand held you are about half way there as far as cost goes. Whether you have to buy map cards or download maps it is about $150.00 to $200.00 for each map. As you can tell I am no expert and these things are a God-send, but you are not done spending when you buy the unit. Jim
  20. I think that the only safe ice near Hamilton is floating in my rye and ginger as we speak. Cheers!!! Jim
  21. Winter + Internet + Cabela's = $$ (Sorry it's the teacher in me, I've got to turn everything into an equation) You couldn't have driven to BPS from Hamilton for that shipping price. Enjoy the racks. Jim
  22. Welcome Pappylachia! I was once married to a Hoosier, that practically makes us kin! I am glad to hear that you get up here fishing once in a while. Happy holidays! Jim
  23. Welcome Karlin! We won't hold that fact that your from Ottawa against you. Jim
  24. Welcome to you both! Dirk, I sent you a PM (hopefully they teach you about those in lurker school). Jim
  25. I was never a big fish eater until late. The key I think is knowing that it is cleaned correctly. If I even think that there might be a bone I eat tentatively and thar ruins the meal. Here is my list: Perch Walleye Anything form the chippies down the road. Jim
