  1. You're better off just calling. When I booked they only had one 2bdr on the back of the property and the bigger cottages on the water. -Brian
  2. Same stuff west of the city too... especially bad near Guelph. It gets slightly better towards London. I hate getting wheel spin when I'm grossing 88,000 lbs. This would be a good day to stay at home... unless you need to go fishing. -Brian
  3. Thanks everybody for the positive feedback. I was looking for a semi-portable center for my tackle. I don't plan on leaving the house too often with it. When I go fishing I travel with this: http://tinyurl.com/yzxnes And I plan on picking up one of these for traveling light: http://tinyurl.com/yfqp89 Now I have to find something better than cardboard box for my muskie stuff. -Brian
  4. I have it that taken care of....
  5. My Jeep sprung a leak (transmission line) so I had to drop my wife off at work. While I was out I picked up a few essentials... 4 Deep Diving X-Raps. When I got home I realized that I've run out of room in the crankbait department so I thought I'd pick up a few more Plano 3700's when I go to pick her up. I grabbed three Plano 3700's and then stumbled across this... I thought to myself "Self, I bet these three Plano boxes will fit in there" They fit nicely with a few friends... 15 in total. I wonder if I could put more in... I can! That's 18 3700 boxes... but wait, what if I want some 3600's? Cool! I can store 15 3700's and 5 3600's All for $22.00 at Walmart -Brian
  6. You sound like one a dem smooooth-talkin' city slickers!
  7. Nice fish, bummer about the rod! I always look forward to your posts for the scenery. Have you ever fished steel in a casino or perhaps an amusement park?
  8. Welcome aboard Rus. I found out last season why you guys are so bent on Muskie fishing... looking forward to your reports next season (and some of my own ) -Brian
  9. Welcome Mark! Where are you from? What kind of fishing do you like? -Brian

  11. I'm confirmed with a friend from work.. =18
  12. I'm booked, cottage 9 on the water. I have to start getting ready, it's only six months away! -Brian
  13. Sent you a PM Keith. -Brian
  14. New rates for 2007? How do you do it...volume? Good luck if you make it out guys! -Brian
  15. Just another reason to put some clothes on -Brian
  16. I bet they won't show the entire post game interview with Jonathon Toews. Poor guy knew it the moment he said it. -Brian
  17. I don't have any experience casting for Muskie but the Shimano Curado 300 looks like a great alternative to round baitcasters. Only slightly larger/heavier than the typical curado body, the palmable low profile reel features 6.2:1 ratio and 15lb drag. The deeper/wider spool holds 120yrd/20lb mono. They aren't cheap at $250 US http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpageRLC...ANO-SCU30D.html -Brian
  18. Good luck with the date change Tony... I asked my wife to change her birthday from June 5 to the first Wednesday in June to free up some weekends in the future. She's so inflexible. -Brian
  19. Is it too late to get my $3000 guiding deposit back? -Brian
  20. For a line counter, the Sealine SG47LC is a good bet. I'd opt for the 47 rather than the 27 for more capacity, low gear ratio and tougher drag. The 27 will be fine if you're strictly fishing Erie for wally's and bows but you'll benefit from the 47 when using dipsy's, inlines or Lake O Salmon hunting. You also mentioned leadcore... you'll want a dedicated setup for this. A roller tip or all roller rod is nice but at the very least you'll want something with a big eye on the end. As for reels, you can't get much better value than a Penn 209M for 18lb leadcore or a 309M for 27lb leadcore. You don't need a linecouter, just count your colours. -Brian
  21. Good service comes as no surprise... they've always been my first choice for ordering - I wish they had Jeep and Astro parts too! So Lew, what's your next Cabelas purchase? Does it rhyme with "Curado 300"? -Brian
  22. Holy crap Cliff! I rummaging through your videos, great stuff! I especially like your Holiday cover. You have a good hand on the acoustic too with Give A Little Bit. New name for you "Walleye Rockstar" -Brian
  23. They're probably out slamming wally's for Cliff's weekly "This will probably be our last chance to get out and by the way, we have a new PB" report. Jealous? damn right!

  25. Fish a new species? [ 0 ] [0.00%] Find a better job? [ 0 ] [0.00%] Be a better spouse? [ 0 ] [0.00%] The early polling results would suggest that most of the OFC Community are likely Bass Pros that enjoy thier job and wish to continue treating thier spouses poorly.
