  2. The wife and I made it out Saturday for a couple hours casting for some more LSC musky action it was a great day light chop perfect conditions but just like last Saturday they were few and far between. We hit the lake around 6:20 and were fishing by 6:45 we did not move a fish until 9:40 which was right at the major for the morning. I will let the video tell the story non the less it was another great short day on the water with my wife we were done fishing by 10:15

  4. John come down and you can sleep on the floor just like Mikey and unload the dish wahser just like jade and feed the dog all so I can go out fishing sure I will take you in. (for the ones who dont know that was ) Oh BTW that was also Mike it sure did I saw it at the last second and was taking the bait out of the water I had already had my bail clicked open for the next cast but was able to keep from taking the bait away it was so cool. Thanks Skipp we had fun today will get the video up later heck I even remembered to bring the 2012 sign

  13. For walleye I use my auto pilot 100% of the time. I can set it the directin I want to go and not worry about the wind pushing me off my track. I also love it for speed I can set it for the exact speed I need
  14. Dave that sounds like a good deal. I might have to look at that heck I can even stop off st Ed's bait to get some new tubes the wife still wants to go bass fishing.
  15. Awesome thread thanks for sharing with us any time on the water with family is priceless
  16. Hey all I was looking at get the dive lens from GoPro and was going to order direct from them but it looks like they ship from the USA only and use FedX or UPS I have sent them a couple questions about buying from Canada but have not got any reply's from them to my questions. I was wondering if anyone has bought direct from them and knows if they will ship any other way like USPS?
  17. IO had the same thing on my 94 mariner changed the plugs and life was GREAT
  18. Jacques how would we laugh at the growl's if I was on mute It was fine before I put the extra risers on I will be messing around again and see what I come up with. Pete Will I enjoy it Thanks I have been wanting to do these for the past few years now but family life kept me from doing the extra fishing so when we had a chance to get out we just went fishing not much messing around trying alot of new things. Now I have to much time I guess and were ready to get the grind on. SRT8 I will find the other post and see why your to slow heck guys usually blame me for the slowdown in there boats.
  19. Awesome story Greg congrats John what a great picture
  20. LOL Brian I hope you have the slower prop on we will leave you behind Dan could you fish the rivers also? I did not see 35 go by at first there were maybe 10-15 over the first 15 min then more trickled out I wonder how many fished the bay right away then moved around?
  21. Dax is right I had put a offer on the MCI site for anyone with a used net and wanted to trade some of my lures for it I explained these young guys to them and had a offer right away then another member from OFC offered a NEW net for free so yes Ron will be getting a net if our members want to put there names here they can I will not mention them but they are both members here and one is a MCI member great guys. So who here wants to help get Jones a net now??? does anyone in the OFC family have a used musky net they can part with? All I ask of the guys getting the help with this is pay it back down the road I have been helped over my life time with things I need but cant afford so I just try and pay back now by doing the same thing. I know that OFC family has a long history of doing these things that is why its so popular and that's why we can all fight about stupid things from time to time and then move on that's what families do. BTW thanks Paul Matt and Davey Joey your always awesome did not mean to make you blush I hope that does not mean Roy is gonna take a strip off me
  22. Thanks all Raf your right its easy to rebuild or get it back to some kind of working order I have done the same on the water its nice to be able to cut and rebuild and get fishing again. Oh I did have to edit due to a couple questions that were asked of me sorry I'm not a lawyer when I wrote this offer up I did it with my own brain and skill of writing sorry for the confusion a couple had this offer does not pertain to cut hooks only. If you cut your hook off and replace it please dont ask me to ship a hook what I mean is if you have to cut the bait to the point you can not use it and all the pieces fall off the shaft then you cut the hook I will gladly give you a new one when I rebuild the whole lure not every time you cut a hook off just take one from your supply bag and put it on. Any way thanks for the kind words all Im off to bed now to dream of getting out fishing soon again.
  23. Ok So I was thinking that over the last bunch of years I have cut up many of my own lures to save a musky just last Sunday I had a 42" swallow my double 10 and the hook was just to far for my Knipex cutters to get at it. Once again I cut the wire shaft and pulled the bait out with it out of the way, I was then easily able to get the treble hook out. I know many would not do this because it will ruin at $20+ lure so I am going to offer a free rebuild to any of my handlebarz musky lures if you have to cut it up to save a musky. If you live local or are passing by Chatham shoot me a email and stop in I can rebuild it using the parts form the lure you cut up just save all the parts, if you cut up the hook after cutting the wire shaft to save the musky I will replace it and the split ring along with the wire shaft so your not out of a lure. Please dont bring in each cut hook for a replacement this is to have your complete lure rebuilt not just cut hooks which is normal for musky fishing. I can also bring my tools out fishing with me if your going to be out I dont mind taking the time on the ramp or out on the water its all I could do to give back for someone that took the time to save a musky. If you live father away and want to ship it here I will re build it but all the shipping cost will be covered by yourself. Blazin Walleye from last week Clown from a 47" last fall
