  1. Probably should have had a thought before your first post singled out another member. The idea of the board is to have fun, share advice etc., if it was that big of a concern you could have sent him a pm.
  2. I bet that before Johnny B opened his big mouth, no one ever fished either of these creeks, you probably had both of them all to yourself. Get a life, you are probably not off to a real good start on the board. Johnny, no offense, not sure if yourmouthis big or not LOL, nor did I see any posts divulging the mother of all spots on ths board...but if you want you can PM them to me.
  3. Speaking about carpet........ Gerrit weren't you getting ready to lay some carpet, ur on your boat I mean.
  4. Nothing like a new friend... Does he like to fish?
  5. Was your liver rotten and stinky, when the water is fast it helps.
  6. Very Nice, When can I move in? Any idea on a cost/sqft
  7. I think this is just more fear mongering from Al Gore, David Shitzuki and his left leaning loonie tunes!
  8. Team 4Reel is laced up, kicking but and taking names later LOL
  9. Hey Mike, Wasn't trying to prevent you from ranting.... We had a really bad experience at BPS in March, I know a lot of members here love the shop... But us, not so much. JB's has a great selection but you have got to find a place you are happy spending your hard earned money.
  10. Do you have a fishable body of water in your basement? If not, you need to revise the honey do list!
  11. So, If you still have cabin fever, drop me a line.... I have a few reels, that, ur will cure the fever in the cabin thingy!! Great post.

  13. I stop J.B.'s every couple of weeks for various things Michelle and I need....the truth is, sometimes I have to convince her we need them, but it is all the same in the wash Any who, guys have alwas been super friendly. Happy to share their knowledge and they have an awesome selection. I am sure if you speak to Brian that he will sort this out for you.
  14. Hey guys, Thanks for all the responses. I thought this was a real bung hole move, to leave an animal partially parilzed and bleeding to death without stopping or reporting. The owner of the house across the street did the right thing. Felt bad we couldn't do anything more, but not in the habt of driving around with a shot gun in the car during steel head season.
  15. No, You should be putting your boat out on the American Side if possible and heading out to the Sand Bar, otherwise reffered to as the Niagara Bar. And you heard correclty, the laker fishing in late April through May is unbelievable....expect 50 + fish days if you are on them. No need for riggers when the temp is stil cold, some planner boards should do it along with dipsy divers. Also bring some good rods to jig with.
  16. Beauty Camo Fish, been awhile since I have seen one that big!
  17. Great report, nothing better then a day on the water with your buddy. Now if your friend out fishes you, then you need to get some help.
  18. We don';t watch a tonne of shows as we do not have WFN or whatever it is called (not included in Cogeco package we have) also most Saturday's and Sundays we are pounding the water. When we are home - we like Mark Krupps(sp) hooked up. It is more about adventure, different places and interesting landscapes. The fish he catches are pretty cool too. Looks like an expensive show to produce. When I was in my early teens I watched alot of shows for technical info, but now we are able to search on the internet, ask the great people here and go out and have fun learning and exploring.
  19. I do a combination of both. I put 2 heavier splits towards the top (I believe they are both A size, then I start with BB and B towards the hook. I usually put my last bb about 12" above the roe. I use a 6' floro leader attached to Braid so, unless we are fishing very deep, my entire set up is usually on my leader. The only problem I have had with set up one is: when the water is fast, a fish can grab the bait when it hits the water and the float doesn't move b/c the lower portion of the lead hasn't settled yet. If the line is weighted proprtionally, even if the float is still on its side or partially righted, it will go down when a fish hits. Also in strong current you will have a bow in your line where there is no weight.
  20. The first pics in our last report are of the Moria, the water is super high. Is there any obstructions that would prevent steelies from getting up to the tribs that empty into the Moria?
  21. Pete's as been open for 15 years, did he move agian. Nice selection at the store but they could use someone in house keeping. I spent many of pay cheques from part time jobs when I was in school, at Pete's.
  22. Cool, Next weekend, I hope to be 3 degrees warmer. Also 3% less shrinkage!
