This game is insane!

Diesel is always more in the winter and cheaper in the summer, it's like clock work. It's the added demand of home heating oil that keeps the price of diesel high in the winter. When it's July, look at the price of diesel at the pumps, always cheaper then regular.

The Ontario government purchased Japanese outboards because the North Americans built E-Tecs were garbage. Evinrude wouldn't warranty any of the blown powerheads basically told them to stick it.. Seeing that you're so angry, would you rather the government just piss money away on the E-Tec or save the tax payer $$$ running the Yamahas?

I would pick a plasma for a edge lit LED any day of the week (Which the Vizio most likely is).. What series was the Samsung?

The last thing you wanna do to any diesel is baby it around, especially if all you're doing is city driving. The harder they are driven, the better they perform.. I'm dealing with a sticky VGT turbo in my oldmans Duramax for this very reason (he drives it like an old lady), I was out on the highway lastnight bombing around trying to get the EGTs up and everything cleaned out and unstuck.

That's pretty much impossible to make any sense out of.

Funny, my buddy is a mechanic for the Coast Guard, he was the one that had the enjoyment of re-rigging all those boats! Nothing but headaches with the E-Tecs, especially when they tried to warranty all the blown powerheads. They finally told Evinrude to shove it and went to Yamaha.

Sounds as simple as the process for our Lund was, good job! I bet you can't wait until the softwater season!

Ecodiesel 10,600lbs, F150 13,300lbs... when are you ever pulling close to 10,000lbs? I would guess, never. It's got a lot more with it being a half tonne chassis then it does the engine. Also, if you are pulling a trailer with that much weight, you're buying a Duramax, Cummins, Powerstroke.. Not a 1500 series truck.

I'd probably find a close out Samsung 8500 series plasma and be happy for the next 4-5 years (If you can find a Panasonic VT/ZT even better!)
