Ya'll remember the Shaw of Iran Apparently if he has a son he is call The Shan Now this particular Son was known to have epyleptic fits and needed a servant to watch over him One day the Shaw comes home to find his son in distress and no servant around Once the servant gets found and brought to the Shaws presence---the 1st question asked...Ready?? Where were you when the fit hit the Shan??

I have a Smokercraft pro Tiller It's caught so many fish there's a wanted poster of it in the post office Or is it the operator Lund does make a very nice boat---but late 90's versions livewell systems were not as good as my Smokercraft---And I fished and witnessed this for myself out of many lunds which was the alum boat of choice in the north

How about we approach a company like Plano or Woodstream Get them to make a tackle box that when your dun fishin you scan your stringer/livewell or bucket and if you've broke the rules..... A wooden mallett comes outta the tacklebox and gives ya one upside the noodle Ala Acme tools and the coyote..

I believe their diet is the biggest factor followed by the other reasons. Any fish that has a predominant food source that is Soft sided or fleshed like smelts or ciscoes tend to grow bigger and faster than those that rely on harder sources--like crayfish or hard scaled species. Pretty simple really--easier to digest---cycles faster through their system allowing growth
