  1. well i havent been able to head out yet , i will be leaving in an hour or so . the docks arnt really all that unstedy, the lauch would be better if u are worying about them falling. but the marina is also very shelterd so the wind and waves are all most non-exestent. so if u do bring them to the docks, they should still wear a life jacket, dont want to take that chance. good luck Mo
  2. ok will keep an eye out for u fisherman!
  3. well ive seen a few jumbos caught down there. got one the other day pushing 12 inches. and seen many over 12 this year. so we will see. but anyways the fishin is always fast and furious, so it will keep me busy lol.
  4. i will be down at the marina tomarrow, to see if i can find any of the jumbos . so just a heads up if anyone is going down, i will be in a red and black floater suit, OFC hat and a OFC sticker on my pail. pikeie
  5. yea people are defiantly keeping anything and everything. i was down there last week and some people were keeping everything from 5 to 10 inchers . i was asked by some men why i was tossing back all of the perch under 9 inch, they said it was a waste of some very good meat. i was disgusted seeing this many fish being caught and kept, and then people were also keeping the fish they snaged. there was one guy down there just snaging them . i will also be down there today in a few hours, so if anyone is down there watch for the OFC hat and sticker.
  6. so today i was at simcoe bait and tackle, gettin some bait for this afternoon . i walk inot the store and the A channel wants to interview me and my brother, ok! so were talkin about the weater and how the ice hasnt come in yet, and yes i had my OFC hat on lol . theres some shots of me gettin my minnows and such. they told me to wath out for them at the docks because they wanted to interview me agian lol. they got a few shots of us fishing and did another interview. so anyways we got about 2 dozen perch over 9 inch, i helped 1 guy land a 7 pound plus, pike(interesting story lol). well under one of the docks a pike was sitting there just looking at all the perch, well a teenager yelled that there was a pike there to his dad and everyone ran over to try and catch it, so there was probly 7 people tryin to catch the one fish, so i thought that with everyone there that pike wouldnt bite. so he was jigging a 4 inch fin-s fish, and the pike went stright to it, sat there for 30 seconds then just snaped at it. so i was glad to see that he hooked it (first one to see it, not those other people), now he didnt know how to land it lol. so i ran over and just grabed it behind the gill plate and liffted her up. he was very happy and he thanked me 3 or 4 times lol and he gave the fish to some else that wanted to eat it. so it was a nice day to be out, testing out our new floater suits, getting on tv, and catching some fish
  7. wow gerritt thats some nice stuff!! i got a floater suit, a ice rod, samsung sgh-c417 cell phone, lots of jiggin raps and genz jigs. hope everyone had a great christmas!!!
  8. wow i definatly thought that that perch was bigger then that Fishersquige, but still a great size !!!!
  9. so after school today i decided to go down to the Barrie marina for some perch action . so while i'm walking down the docks, i walk past these 4 fisherman with what looks like they are over there 50 limit each, and they are still keepin every perch! so after about 15 minutes of fishin i look down the road and see a white pick up coming to the marina, upon closer inspection it turns out to be a conservation officer. so he is checking everyone, so far everyone is ok. so he comes up to the 4 men fishing beside me, he asks for there licences 3 have conservation licences (25 perch per person), and one has a sport licence. so he starts to count the one man, he is only aloud 25 he had 75!!!, the same for the next guy but 60, and while the CO is checking one man an other man tries to dump his fish right infrount of the CO . so he got told not to do that and had his perch counted, he was only aloud 25 he had 40. the man with the sport licence had 48 fish so he was still ok, so they are all were saying "i didn't know there was a limit" and other sorry excuses. so the CO takes there rods, tackle, fish and charges them . he came and checked me out and i was fine, we had a good talk about how stupid those guys were lol. so after all this i move over to another dock, the perch were in the by the hundreds, couldnt see the bottom at times. i look up, a man is walking towards me. he says "OFC" (saw my hat and sticker on my bucket). turns out to be fishinsquege (sp), he said he doesn't post much and he works at Bass pro with roger. so he took me out to the spot they were fishin and the jumbos were there. biggest fish goes to fishinsquege, the perch was probably around the 14" mark and it was so fat. so it was a pretty good day, get to go fishin, see some guys get busted, and got some perch for dinner
  10. will defiantly be there agian this year mo! had a great time last year. and we will probaly get some prizes for the table.
  11. well this year we got our first brand new boat. it is a 1775 lund classic side console with a 90 merc 4 stroke. rods- st.croix premier 7' one piece spinning rod, so far love the rod, works great for pike and smallies. bass pro shops bionic blade 6'6" casting rod. i find the rod a little to limber but it is a great rod for tossin crank baits and spinner baits. reels- abu gracia cardnial 502 ALB. the reel is great, the one probem i found with it is when you tightin down the reel handle, it never feels like it is on as tight as it can go. but other then that great reel (paired up with my st.croix premier) abu garcia ambassidtor 5500. like the reel, easy casting. this one is paired up with my bionic blade. sonar- marcum lx-3, bought it off of islander in the summer, works great and a really clear display. and many various baits.

  15. ok well today at school as i was text messeging a freind someone bumped me and the phone fell over the railing hitting the ground from about 18 feet up when i went to pick it up the phone worked but the main screen and camra were screwd up. so i called the place where i bought it abd they said to replace the 1 half of the phone would almost cost me $200 . so i was wondering if anyone here knows of any place that repairs cells ????, i really dont feal like paying that much, as the phone is only worth $229 brand new .
