Much to my personal chagrin, I have yet to catch a musky. Hopefully that'll all change this season.

Just got off the phone with a buddy and we talked about the notion of hitting upstate New York for maybe 4 days of fishing / camping sometime this summer. The Adirondack Park Preserve apparently boasts some 3000 fishable lakes and ponds. Neither of us have ever fished in the US and it would be a fun and welcome change of scenery. I'm wondering if there are any species indigenous to the area that can't be found in Ontario. Has anybody ever fished this area before? Any recommendations on good camping spots in close proximity to potentially stellar fishing holes? Any insight would be amazing!

I just tried Nero but it says that my Quicktime files are incompatible. I downloaded the trial version of Cyberlink 4 Mediashow, and I'm really frustrated. I was able to import the files, but it will only recognize them as photos. I moved the files into 'My Videos' but it still won't seem to let me import them and when I try dragging and dropping them into Cyberlink, it says 'No media available to be imported into Mediashow. Please select another source.' What the heck?! The help button doesn't offer much of it either!

I got a cool little Panasonic DMC - LZ10 digital camera for X-mas from my girl friend, and I've been messing around with capturing film footage. I want to edit some of it, but can't find a program to do so. I tried using Windows Movie Maker, but it won't seem to read the files. I can only seem to open them in Quicktime. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it is! I've eaten slices there more times than I can count. Upstairs at the Monarch Tavern, Kaplanski is churning out the most outrageous smoked meat sandwiches this side of the eastern townships as well!

Perhaps your inconsistency in landing those bad boys is directly attributable to your choice of footwear? They see those office loafers and they bolt for the high seas because they figure you're going to subject them to the tedium of the mail room!

You're probably right. But my buddy is driving all the way down from Sudbury to fish for the weekend so we'll take our chances and the steelheading has been tough as of late anyhow. Hopefully it let's up.
