  1. Any auto parts store or your mechanic will test your batteries for you. However given their age, you may be looking at replacement.
  2. They're fishing for more wallet contents, go elsewhere.
  3. Appreciate it Dan, this job is pretty low on the list, something to do in end of January / February.
  4. There is a place on Mud Street, or just start calling around to local wreckers .
  5. I'm laid up right now, so I am unable to pull the wheels. (Recovering from cancer surgery) Soon as I am able, I'll pop a few pics up. Thanks.
  6. I have a Fisher trailer, and want to redo the brakes on it, surge brakes BTW. I believe that they are disc brakes as well. Where do I look to get the correct part numbers, or should I just take it to a shop?
  7. Open it in an incognito window.
  8. Good thinking by these guys: https://www.thespec.com/news/hamilton-region/2022/10/28/car-sinks-bayfront-boat-launch.html

They may not have a boat or tackle when this is over, so not much danger of that. Hope the judge has a strong arm and a heavy book.
  10. Good on you Bruce.
  11. Nobody needs a Macco job, the worst body shop in ever. Source: A 45 year experience bodyman. If you can get a glass suction cup to stick to the panel that may do to pull it. https://www.richelieuglazingsupplies.com/ca/en/category/suction-cups-handles/single-suction-cup-handles/1174434?sort=&nbPerPage=48
  12. @AKRISONER I've got a bunch of scrap that you can have, yah cheap git. 😆
  13. No Chris, auction off his slot. Double dip for you.
  14. Fantastic! Just goes to show, most errors are clerical...
  15. Yes I did, it was a grueling process, but very rewarding in the end. I tried to find the thread I created about the project but couldn't find it.
  16. Before you go to the expense, I would suggest that you check out the condition of the "knees" and the stringers. Rangers do not split the cap from the hull, so the only way to do this repair is to cut out the splash well, perform the transplant, and re-glass the cut out section. I did a transom transplant on my former Ranger a number of years ago. It is a lot of work. A very good resource is the "bassboat restoration" sub forum on Bass Boat Central. https://www.bbcboards.net/forumdisplay.php?f=118
  17. Guess I'll have to pick up two more axel stands. Thanks Wayne!
  18. What would you suggest for a tandem axel trailer, Dan?
  19. Long live the King.
  20. What do you use? Here's mine:
  21. Thanks for the explanation, you should stop by my place sometime I may have some wood you could use.

  23. That's some pretty workmanship, sir. Question about the juniper burl, Can you do the turning with an aggressive sandpaper on the lathe? Or is the shearing action of the chisel important for the final finish?
  24. The one that is not doing tricks in front of the ramp while people are loading / unloading.
