6 months and lots of money I took it down to bare hull refoam..new transom and floor ..GIS 3/4 ply epoxied and barrier coated..new carpet..wiring ..plumbing ..it's so worth it in the end esp if you like the hull, pm with any ? Got lots of stuff from west marine hatches etc

Sounds like the switch in the handle failed ..if it still goes up/down at the motor ...could have been a relay but not if its still functioning

I'm not to fond of my Elite 7 hdi..hard to use ..my next unit for the bow and to run the min Kota will deff be a bird

I troll with my 60 tiller ..use a happy troller plate ,works great..motor alone at idle in gear is around 3 mph plate down its less than half that ..the min Kota will take up some of the trolling duties
