That is common description of the service you can expect at that marina.

Has anyone installed one of the Minnkota iPilot kits on their trolling motor? Just curious how difficult the process is - it does not look difficult but you never know until you actually get into it - LOL. I called several places looking to buy one but my quotes were between $900-$1,000 but no one had stock and Johnson Outdoors did not know when they would be available. I just ordered one from the US and they have it in stock and it was only $505 USD. It should arrive next week!!

Fishing launch fees in Oakville to Hamilton

Do they offer a season pass or is it just day pass only? -
Does anyone know what the best launch to get a season pass is along Lake O from Oakville - Stoney Creek. I live in downtown Burlington so Fishermans Pier is the closest but I do not know if they sell season passes. I just dread the clowns at the public (free) launches trying to get their boat to started while clogging the boat ramp. I am getting a seasons pass at Fishmasters in Dunnville for just that reason.........that and the damn jet skiier!

I heard good things about them but check out this guy - https://www.canadafishingguide.net/ He seems to have the in on where to go and what to expect. I used him on my last two trips and they were excellent

Ya competition is going to kill them. Dropped them about 12 years ago and out of principal I will not return

Fly in fishing trip with Air Dale - Little Missinaibi Lake

Are you referring to Missinaibi Lake? There are no loads leading to Little Missinaibi Lake? Some rough logging roads will get you close but you would have a lot of bush whacking to get to them. -
Yep....you mean this place

Ya....you had me until you said snakes! I HATE snakes

Crap.......I did not check out the date of that post - LOL

I rented a cottage on Bonnie Island last summer and the fishing was amazing about 100yds off the dock (there were 3-4 boats there every evening) and one guy caught a 36" Musky while I watched and from my dock - scotch and cigar in hand. There are lots of places to fish in the area but definitely check the weed bed on the south side of Bonnie Island, and the long narrow bay just across the bay south of Skunk Island - seemed to pull in decent sized Pike out of both areas. While you are there take a ride to check out the Ojibway Club and if you have kids with you take them to the Hole in the Wall for a swim (great cliff jumping). Good luck

Cam lake is not big at all. Definitely better to walk the portage trail to back out to Little Miss. Did you ever fish the rapids on the north end of Little Miss? Beautiful spot and was pulling in fish every other cast

Funny that come election time they talk of voting for the individual MPP not the party but as soon as they are in office and they do not tow the party line they get whacked. He should have just went to the Caribbean with Rod Phillips and called it a day.

We rented a cottage on Cecebe and I drove to Tornados for a 30min flight on his DHC-2 Beaver with my daughters. Great guy and an impressive lodge!
-
We hiked the portage trail into Cam Lake 3 years ago Sept and to check out the lake and cabin. The cabin was closed for repairs but the lake is beautiful and the fishing was second to none. The bear made one hell of mess.

No worries at all.......glad to help! Just post a pic of the final project. Cheers - John

We went in September and hiked into Cam Lake (I will post about that another time - keep an eye out for it). Tried to get into Elbow/Trump Lake but water was too low. I love the pic of you on Capitan......I went there in late Sept 8 years. Beautiful place -

We kept and cleaned early in the week and ate 3-4 meals (lunch or dinners) and it was catch and release during the week on the day before we left we kept a few to take home. -
It also goes the other way as well. I am an electrician (309-A) and have been working as an application engineer for an electrical manufacturer for the last 12yrs. I get approached all the time for people wanting things done, friends of friends and neighbors. Since my kids are getting older I have more time on my hands to fish & hunt and do side jobs. I carefully vet my customers as well because to be honest I am done with crawling through an insulated filled attic to install pot lights, or deal with customers that want to re-negotiate with you after the job is complete. I do not think that the trades have ever been this busy thanks to COVID. People are renovating their homes while they are working from home. The underground economy is BOOMING and I have done jobs for cash, services in lieu of, products, and about anything else you can trade or negotiate.
