  1. Call up the CIA and stick it into their computer for sending coded messages, shouldn't take long.
  2. Well, I'll make an attempt. I get the following words in no particular order. Refresh, Fisherman, Mother, Hooked, Whale, Oil and Beef with a bunch of left over letters. I'm going for an Excedrin or 2 now. I'm bordering on the 7 decades shortly.
  3. You trying to give us a brain tumour, lol.
  4. Excellent, don't need people like that in raping nature.
  5. I used the red once, it turned my 2 stroke gas for the ice auger and chain saw into a red jello blob. Never use that crap again. And I'm never going to be the guinea pig for the blue stuff either. Sea Foam, it works, like Franks Hot Sauce for gas.
  6. Well there's lots of rocket scientists out there who probably never passed physics 101. If you don't tie down the rear of the boat to the trailer even a piece of 2x4 does nothing for saving the transom. What you want is to have the boat and trailer going over potholes and bumps to do it together, not the boat flopping around on the trailer and then the weight of the motor adding to the motion. A transom saver ensures the unsupported lower end of the motor from from flopping around. I've watched mine going over bumps, the whole trailer, boat and motor move up and down as one unit. No flopping. Your toys, due your diligence.
  7. Yes the rat traps do work until they get wary of them and then they'll avoid them no matter what bait you put in there. I use a Crosman Baze XT, 1200 fps, one shot dead at 80 feet with the pointed pellets.
  8. I feel your aggravation Lew, I had to go to my brothers place in Scarborough yesterday, coming back at 11am was just a grudge match of idiots on the road. If it wasn't for him living there, I would never go south of highway 9.
  9. That used to be a favourite of mine, sadly the city of Orillia has removed a lot of the parking that allowed direct access to the waters on the south side of highway 12.
  10. Just like when people would burn their huts down when they were to lazy to make the effort to get them off the ice at end of season.
  11. Part of the problem with the Hindenburg was what they used as a coating for the outside of the ship.
  12. I'm sure if you go to any house there is probably a pile of cupboard queen appliances that have been used once or twice never to see daylight again. I like my cast iron fry pans and stainless pots.
  13. If I was to buy one I'd be looking at the ones that don't have the non stick coating. Some are stainless or ceramic.
  14. Well I think the wicked witch finally woke up, a solid 25 cm last night, one of those local snow streamers that just would not stop, and more coming.
  15. The old ARGO's were a far cry from the newer ones. I remembered having to change roll pins on the axles and when the newer splined drive shaft ones came out, oh joy. But you still have to do due diligence and make sure everything is oiled/greased and adjusted. Newer fuel injected motors are much better too.
  16. Ya I have doubts about the reality, had to have a camerman ready, etc. But the most important part, have the ice picks handy, around your collar and don't panic.
  17. Well that serves him right, good on the judge.
  18. This grumpy weather is wreaking hell with me, dark, damp rain. Only good thing, no shoveling needed.
  19. And they give me a heahache.
  20. I would think it's a lot cheaper to install a couple trolling bags instead of running an electric mot backwards and killing batteries. But then again, it's an opinion and ...I better stop.
  21. Turkey, squash and bacon wrapped stuffing farts here, 11pm and heading to bed.
  22. Unfortunately lack of common sense.
  23. An ATV with husband, wife and son through the ice west of Edmonton.
  24. As another year comes to an end, I wish all the best for Christmas and the best of health.
