To do a amp test you must make your multi meter a part of the circuit. Put the the red lead into the 10 amp hole,turn the multi meter to 10 amp. remove the fuse and stick the leads into the slots of the fuse holder(one in each). if nothing happens turn the leads around. This must be done when the circuit is turned on.

Glen; If you are talking about the swivel that have a loop in them. where you slide the lure on. Stay away. I've had lures come off of them in the weeds and had to cut one, when it collapsed on a snag between rocks.
