  1. Does the UN has to say something about it ?
  2. I wish I had an answer for you. The problem is I 've never run this boat before modyfication. What I can say is this: In addition to the wood, carpet, floor support etc. on my first test run I've had also battery, trolling motor, full tank of gas (6 gal), big tacle box and probably another 50 lb in other staff ( good to have it just in case ) and me ( 220 lb ), I've managed 25 km/hr (about 15+ miles/hr) with 9.9 HP mercury. It is good for me, I'm fishing, not racing
  3. Are you sure that you need only casting platform ? This is my 14' aluminum Before after
  4. Affect fishing season ? no way But, if I may..... There are few changes in new regs that I like ( personal opinion ) and I would like to see them implemented ASAP to make fishing better now and in the future One of the things in life we cannot loose is time, when it is gone, it is gone and there is no way to get it back
  5. Thanks for an advice , I will. Hopefully I will have enough time tomorrow to call or send e-mail to my MP to ask what is the problem. At this time I'm not going to speculate who is to blame ( I do not know the facts), but my 7th sense is telling me that not everything is so obvious as in minister Ramsey's press release
  6. Well, I have a word for minister Ramsey. It looks that after October 2007 his chances to implement this changes will be "DELAYED" for quite few years
  7. I think I can give you advice in : RE: Q2 I've bought mine in Whitby (marina), I did seen it in Home hardware store in Oshawa. Laminating the ply in opposite direction ????. If anything, you should do it the way so the grain is perpendicular, but because you are going to use ply there are already quite few layers laminated at 90 deg angle in each sheet. Re Q3 Use the same 2 part epoxy. Particularly on the edges ( end grain ) If you decide to use 2 part epoxy, the most important thing is to follow the instruction to the letter ( there are no "ifs" and "buts" ) trust me As to how to remove the motor I have no clue, in my case I just grab it and put aside ( 9.9 Merc)
  8. Some general rules (from luremaking.com) To run shallow and maximize wobble lure should have lip on large angle ( to the plane of of the lure ) To dive really deep angle should be small ( almost parallel to the plane of of the lure ) Square lip will dive deeper then round one Round lip will increase the wobble
  9. You can run, but you can't hide
  10. Put half can of Haineken in the water. It should work
  11. I've seen better pictures of your catch Bojan . You have :thumbsup_anim: from me for trying. I wish I could do it myself. Great report. Thanks for sharing
  12. Yup about time ( spring ) From now on I will call them rap-ALA
  13. Based on this I would not say that the fishing is not sexy, it looks to me that it is rather " misanderstood"
  14. Sounds like a plan. I'm sure ( 99.99%) you got a deal :clapping:
  15. Looks like center console , do they build them in tiler version
  16. Yup you got it right - great music, and my favorite is Easy Living
  17. You sound like you are "sorry" for posting it. You should be proud of it It is beautifull
  18. :clapping: If I may add: Black Sabbath, Procol Harum, Uriah Heep and ............ O.K. I think it is enough for one trip
  19. I like this one very much. Lake Scugog 9 of July 2004 6:00 am Cloud on the water
  20. Blind ??????? I do not thing so, but you can definitely hurt your hand I hope you have some good cutters and first aid kit
  21. Some more ideas you can use:
  22. KTFO, You got it right!!!!!!! Now I'm asking myself why I did brake some of these rules
  23. Great advices from everyone, but In my opinion you have to decide for yourself three things 1. What I have to have ? 2. What I should have ? 3. What I want to have ? Like somebody's said before you do not want to take you garage with you on the fishing trip, or if you do you will sink before you start fishing ( or you will need small barge or pontoon towed behind (with all the "neccesities") your boat if you want to be prepared for for anything and everything..... If I had to do it this way, I should give up fishing long time ago. Just use your common sense. For comparison: let say you've bought new car Do you care in your trunk? spare battery ? jumper cables ? brake pads ? spark plugs ? brake fluid? can of oil? I could list tens more, but it is not my point As I understand your boat is new, just enjoy it the way you want Just not to discurage you , you have to remember that you have also trailer, and obviously there are few things you have to have, should have and want to have. My 0.02$
  24. I've already posted this on the old forum, but because it is gone and since last summer we have many more new members so here it is: It was beginning od August 2006. Me and my family were camping on the shores of Kamaniskeg Lake (Barry's Bay area) One afternoon the clouds were pretty heavy, and just shortly after dark heavy thunderstorms has developed.. We were in the tent trailer. It took about one hour of heavy rain to flood the campsite ( later I was walking in 2" of water ). During this hour, about ten minutes left some memories in our heads.. It was dark, heavy rain and our trailer started shaking like hell. This is what we have learned next day: The category 2 tornado went pretty close to us (about 1.5 km from path of the tornado to our camp ) The only thing that changed it's direction was small hill ( so called Shweig Hill ), tornado passed through south side ( we were on the north side of the hill) Few pictures from " day after": Shweig Hill Combermere ( small willage on the shores of Lake Kamaniskeg) Campground on Lake Kamaniskeg Nobody was hurt, but lot of cars were damaged
