How I miss the days of DSS - all open - all channels - all FREE!!! Bring back DSS - Any P5 Fixes - please advise!!

Yea - soft water - as some may know I missed a whole season last year - but this year now in Barrie - with my boat that is rigged for Lake O salmon - I will do quite well for Lakers in Kempenfelt I do believe!!

Was talking to a fellow who ownes a tackle shop on the weekend, and said that they are now hearing that all live bail may be banned in Ontario - has anyone else heard of this??

As I noted in a post earlier we froze out in the ice on Simcoe!! - With all this Global Warming talk - I wish that there was!!! - The enviroment is not a joke, but what is everyones perspective on this?? Is this more important than how all of our hard earned tax dollars are spent or wasted away, or is it the flavour of the decade? Thoughts?

Went out with the boys from work and a couple others that came along - but was windy as can be - seems to be the story of my life!!! Anyone need some wind in their area - give me a call - seems every time I go fishing - there is WIND!!! - it is like it just loves to be around me. I have gone to Florida, South Carolina, Quebec, Jacks lake, pulled the boat everywhere - the forcast calls for calm and nice - I get there and the winds come from no where - !!! Was just too cold and windy to work it - so we will be back out next week - Hopefully we will get to prove out Big Boyz II from Simcoe bait and tackle - thanks Lou May get a tite line next week - barring any more wind!!! Glanced the posts on the front page just now, and there was nothing about fishing?? - just pic questions, old posts, slow PC's - but no fishing?? So - here is goes - Going out on Simcoe Saturday - going from 9'th line - all out there- give us a shout on your "cobra" radios - channel 1-1-1 Tite lines!!

I got mine from Trombleys in Orillia - was about $215 - may not be worth the drive - but they also have some good specials on right now also. Later

I use a zip lock for my phone and camera - keeps all weather out - but good to have a phone - but you should always have a VHS on any body of water.

Having just moved to Barrie, as some of you may know, I was out scouting the area this morning with my new Lowrance Iway - and found a Hunting and Angling club on Old South Road 2 - does anyone have a contact there, a web site or some info? - Also - to all of you that directed me to the Wolfs Den for my Hunting and Gun course - thank you - taking this in March. OK - so here is the scoop - this is a new one in the series and they missed something in the program. This unit is the only one of this series that supports both road and marine. So I got the Navtronics Easter Great lakes 901G that covers all of Ontario, Erie, Quine, Trent, Rideau, Georgian and so on - lots of good lakes in Ontario also But the chip is huge!!! - with all depth info, structure underwater, marinas, bouys etc. - so being so large, they were to program a Pull Down menu by location to show what body of water you wanted insteasd of loading all.
