Spoke with my insurance today, they are sending out a boat damage specialist to access the boat, tried to get the dealer to e-mail a warranty claim # or work order, they say they have nothing, Phoned tracker marine in springhill mo. same deal , i phoned the insurance and told them and they are to call themselves to get any info they need, hopefully they make out better than i did, , sighhhhhhhhhhh.. i'm too drained to be even mad.

If you research the bbb they are like several doors down from tracker Hummmmmm!

Wayne my insurance guy said the same thing LOL, I'm going to for now leave it up to the adjuster and boat damage investigator, i was told i will receive any and all findings from his/her reports. The insurances findings should be all i need to take this to the next step,i really hate to put it threw insurance, and believe me i have told them nothing but the truth, tracker says it's hard loading that caused the damage, then the insurance has the option of proving them wrong, as well as telling me if in fact it has bondo in it,then i'll procede from there. It really is a shame, i did very much like the boat.

Before i do anything i'm going to let the insurance access the boat, they assured me they have the experts to check it over and then at least i have a documented accessment of the damages, and of course this means traveling to toronto and the risk of getting arrested and not to mention the exspense,I've e-mailed several news media places, as of yet no responses, been weeks, i'm getting all my ducks in place, ,All i can do is wait! Time costs nothing!I was thinking of putting a poster on it when i picked it up but thought better of it!

Went sunday on fathers day to pick up my boat, was told to take it home or risk having storage fees applied to it, It still stands at warranty is denied, they say it has have bondo in it, and damage is from hard trailing. Spoke with my insurance company on monday, they are going to try put it threw but at not sure how i will make out, as it was not hit or impacted, looks like i'm screwed again, but we'll see, as far as i am concerned, hard loading as they say it would come under impact, but we'll see, here are some pics from today of the boat and the cracks, if you look at the first pics i posted you'll see the damage as it was before tracker got it, these pics showw where they scratched the hull and banged the cracks inward, also notice the angles of pics i took of the hull to prove of no impacts by me to the boat, the hull is straight and dent free.

Send me some pics if you can of your damage, let me guess it's from hard trailering!! LOL!

Thanks Bill I really appreciate the offer for help and the kind words, it's nice to have some encouragment when your down and stressed out. Thanks Wayne!

I run a 04 johnson 150 h.p, if you do the research you will find all problems with that motor happened within the first 1oo hrs, i;m guessing the one you looking at should be over that, and it was mostly with the 99 models, check out the boards on bassboat central ,you will find everything you need to know, using a good grade oil is a must in these as well, xd-50 or 100 synthetic, you need to know for sure as the engine needs to be programed to run 1 or the other, i run the xd-100 and it'll run you around $53 a gallon, the 50 is a little less, but the engine uses more of it, almost double, so really it makees sense to use the 100, just my opinion! Wayne P.s i love the way my johnson performs, best engine yet that i have owned, i will never purchase a merc ever again! (Wow that doesn't sound right eh)

Was coming home from a lacroos tourny in Stayner this weekend, stopped at the gateway just outside Barrie to get somefuel,(diesel)so i'm pumpimg my fuel and this Bmw pulls up ,brand new car and talks to the attendant, lady seems to be getting upset and the guy doesn't want to fuel here car, finally he grabs a nozzel and starts pumping diesel into this beamer, i go over to the guy and asked why he was pumping diesel and he said thats what she wanted, upon closer inspection of the fill cap, low and behold this beamer is a diesel, never in my life have i heard of a diesel beamer, volvo mersasdies, volkswagon, but never a beamer, i just thought it was kinda cool!

My old 6hh.p evinrude was running just like yours suggested, i mixed in a hole bottle of seafoam in a 5gallon tank, got it running in the drive way, shut it down and let it sit over nite, restarted it in the morning, man you should have seen the crap come out of the exhaust, one good run on the lake, runs like its new, i put seaform in every outboard i run and in every tank, but if you fish eveery day then it could get pricey, at $8 a can i put it in after every fill up.
-
run some seafoam threw it first!

Rob don,t count them out just yet, bass love them, especially the green ones! -
Anytime you get down this way ,just p.m me, and i own both a bass boat and a cracker, i think we'll stick with the bassboat!
-
No but they did come in 4-10 feet of water along the shore line, they were still spawning, and yes i have pitched docks for pike , when site fishing them, my only gripe is that it alway seems to be a guy in a bass boat, maybe they were, maybe they were not!bottom line is no one knows for sure, and if they were then one should have taken the vessel i.d and reported it, i,m all for the regs and conservation, but we all have to effectivly do our part,All i was trying to say or state was that because a guy is in bassboat, doesn't mean he is just fishing bass, Look me up this summeer if your down here in niagara this summer and the same for you as well Bill, i would love to take you guyz out for some fishing and some arguemntal conversation to help pass the day, Cheers Wayne!

The boat was in fact damaged when i went to pick it up, it was a demo model from ontario place, when i had purchased it site unseen from the salesman, he stated it was in mint condition, just a demo but i would have to install a new motor, when i went to go see the boat it was scratched all to pieces, decals and paint missing, i told them no way did i want this boat, managaer comes back and puts in writing, they will repaint and decal the boat(at the time there was no dadmage to the hull),return the boat in the fall, they repaint and decal the boat, this is the only time it has been worked on and i have the before and after pitcures, managaer at bass pro tracker marine is saying it maybe had got damaged at the boat show at ontario place and maybe they tried to cover it up(passing the buck) i told the manager regardless of anything i had not bought the boat from ontario place,i had purchased it from tracker marine, he then prceeds to tell me that the manufacture(tracker marine is denying the claim and i'm basically screwed, said he feels my pain but can't help me. i've asked him to send me a writen work order stating the findings and decsion of the warranty department, and this is where i stand right now!Any previous damage was just flaking paint, scratches and decal damage.

Looking into it as we speak,I just have to be careful how i express my thoughts and feelings about this all!
-
Thanks Wayne! Going for a walk to clear my head!I`m completely sick to my stomach of this whole deal!
-
Well it's been how many weeks!Called tracker marine at bass pro were the boat is, they are still denying the warranty, manufacture is saying no, boat has been repaired before, dealer says no it hasn't, i'm really about ready to go postal on these folks!Bassically they have all washed there hands of this boat, leaving me holding the pot!\anybody on here know anyone in the coast guard who could help me out with the safety issue end of this, ,mentally i'm whipped with this whole deal and can't think right, anybody with any ideas of how to deal with this or avenues to take ,please contact me! not a really great time to be laid off, i have no money to persue a lawyer,Guyz for the sake of sanity don't purchase a tracker boat, they don't stand behind there products!
-
Nice rig! You'll be greatful you opted for the extra h.p, to many boats are purchased under power, now get out there and get fishing!!!!
