  1. Awesome
  2. Aww, that sucks
  3. We have great neighbours (they gave us a $200 bottle of Dom Perignon for our wedding day), and I don't think they'd give me a hard time about taking it down, it's actually leaning more to their house than ours, so a storm would take out their bedroom I'll call the city tomorrow and find out what has to be done to get it taken down, if it's a matter of us just taking it down, we're good for a G2G tree taking down Brian
  4. Awwww shucks, thanks Mike. I was just trying to help
  5. Woohooo, nice stuff Mike
  6. No genius here, but been there, done that. When Paul's 52"er would not fit in the net and I could see the harm it was causing the fish trying to net it, you bet I grabbed it and hauled her in. She swam away beautifully and nobody got hurt, we bought a bigger net the next weekend. Lets not let this get ridiculous, I'm just giving constructive criticism, that's all. Believe me, we've all learned a few things catching the big ones and I know a few things now I did not know before. Just trying to help is all!!! The more safe musky releases the better
  7. Hey, no worries Manitoubass2, all I'm saying is if you are going to target musky, you need to be prepared, and if he's lucky enough to catch musky that size, next time bring a bigger net is all.
  8. That is awesome, love the pic of G-man and the fish giving him a hard time. Those pics are always classic
  9. Wow, you seriously need a bigger net bud!!!! Very nice fish but the netting is atrocious, you'd have been better hauling it in by hand under the gill plate carefully!!
  10. Damn Brian, that hurts. Almost as bad as leaving for a week of holidays and remembering you forgot the trolling motor 1 1/2 hours later on the highway, so you gotta turn around and add another 3 hrs to the drive
  11. You guys are killing me here. Well first I need to find out if I can take it down (permits etc.) Then we'll talk beer and a tree taking down G2G
  12. I second that, and "a bit crazy" is an underestimation
  13. Losing family pets sucks Really sorry to hear this, hope you are holding up okay!
  14. Crap, that's what I was worried would have to happen, okay, thanks guys. Wonder if I need a permit for that???
  15. My pine tree seems to be dying from the top down. I've googled it with not much success as there could be many reasons, but not really the answer I'm looking for since the bottom seems so healthy and I don't see any beetles or bugs on it. I don't use pesticides in the yard either. Any arbourists or anyone have any ideas? I've taken a pic of the top, which this year started with only about 1 foot of dead parts, which has now ended up at about 5 or 6 feet of dead. Bottom and middle are fine and looking healthy, but at this rate, it's not looking good that it will make it much longer. I took a long shot too so you can see how tall the tree actually is, so it must be pretty old and secure in the ground by now. Any ideas? lightening maybe? Thanks for your help anyone.
  16. Ok what did you marinate it in B?
  17. Yup, love X-box laker fishing on Simcoe
  18. Sometimes inspection and planning are required when taking a long trip. Paul always inspects the tires before we leave and all other aspects of safety first. Otherwise sounds like a great trip and lots of fish were caught and even some fish fryes
  19. OMG now I'm hungry B, thanks
  20. I'm partial to LG myself, they've never let me down!!!
