Getting bored sitting at home so I figured if there isn't any work out there I might as well try to make a little spending $$ .. I have searched online to find some info on getting a licence and the cost involved but coming up empty. Anyone know where i can get the info? would it be the MNR or dept of fisheries? thanks

Instead of an egg sinker on the main line .. I use a swivel attached to a 4" piece of 6 lb mono and a bank sinker .. the swivel slides on the mainline like the egg sinker but if it gets hung up you only loose the sinker and not the hook .. plus if your sinker is stuck and get a fish on you could get hung up and it would only break off the sinker

your kids wont mind catching sheephead or carp .. spent many days at wilkes dam in Brantford when my son was young catching creek chubs and suckers .. now when we troll the grand for eyes and he hooks into a sheephead the smile is still there when he lands it .. as long as there is something biting they will have fun

Mohawk Lake in Brantford has some crappie in it ..there are a few spots off shore from Grenwich st or from Mohawk park .. just look out for the shopping carts, broken bottles and used syringes .. oh and dont eat the fish

I had an older ranger (95) quite a few years back with the same problem .. I brought it to a leaf spring shop who found a couple of them were cracked .. replaced the broken ones and added another .. it was fairly cheap if I recall .. I would check the existing springs for cracks before doing anything

I have 10 Piranhas between 6-10"s .. just moved them into a 240 plywood tank I built for them .. Its alot of work but worth it
