by looking at the small graph from PowerPro site... it seems red will be invisible down to estimate of 15ft of water? Search for some salmon lure shows this info aswell I think... saying... certain color becomes invisible at certain depth for fish... etc...

I have been told it is under $200 PER YEAR for motorbike with 49cc or under. How about 125cc engine? insurance cost, anyone have any experience? Is this true? How much are you paying for yours? Well... It seems that most of those Chinese (no offense to those who are...) fishing from Lake Scugog take whatever they can... mostly panfish & bass. Oh yeah... should we be worrying about our fresh drinking water now too ? I personally boil all my drinking water. (well more like a really light flavored tea) Oh and should we have the results by now? it's been more than two weeks now?

Since it was my first time using baitcast setup I bought a cheap BPS Medium Heavy Graphite 6'6" rod. Now, I don't know how fishing rod characteristics are but is this how MediumHeavy rods feel like? Stiff all the way? or should the tip should be soft? The reason I am asking is because when I was fishing... I felt a fish on the end of the line, so I set the hook and started reeling in rapidly at the beginning but due to the stiffness of the rod and size of the bass... rod wasn't bending so much and while pausing from reeling... I kinda had a slack in the line because there wasn't too much pressure from the rod and the hook came off or something. I am sure hook may not have been set good enough but would it also be a problem of this stiff tip end of the rod? or is this how Med.Heavy rods are ? Are there Medium Heavy rods where maybe 3/4 of the rod is nice and stiff while 1/4 tip end is soft enough to keep some pressure on it ? Some inputs on characteriestics of casting rod would be appreciated. Thank you. Oh btw... when i was browsing LeBaron site for Shimano rods, they show rod info with Power & Action seperately. Where as other all other brands of rods from any site you look at only show the power. I don't really understand these.

Hello. I am wondering if there are Smallmouth bass in Lake Scugog ? Has anyone every caught one?

I personally use a Shimano Convergence 9' medium action rod. but I wish it was a medium heavy. I also use a Daiwa Regal Xi 3500 with 12lb mono. & 30lb PowerPro. so rod of 8'6"+ casting rod would work. BUT most importantly... one tip I can give you is... get the lightest rod you can get... arm does get tire a lot.

i work for a airline and i do recommend a hard shell cylinder containers. if you are going to make one yourself, make sure to duck-tape the cap. user information right on the tube is good idea too. burn it in if you want. oh and make sure you put some soft padding on each end of tube/on the cap? to prevent damage to rod tips. also, it would be a good idea to wrap all the rods together with something soft with volume to prevent it from bouncing side to side in the tube. thick old smelly socks? i don't know, use your imagination. enjoy. Little off topic but West Jet... well... don't see too many older? (age) employees. They all sound cheerful to the point of being annoying. and ALL of their male employees are like... well... i shouldn't be saying such thing. hope we don't have any westjet employees here. Have fun!

What lure did you use to catch those? Topwater frog? Because I seen many bass cruising around and most of them just wouldn't bite even when I had the bait right on it's face. I think it is because they are guarding their spawn area. When ever sunfish gets near bass would chase them away. Yet when I toss'd in a plastic baits bass just ignored it. Totally. I did end up getting one large one after like 20+ cast to same fish over and over and working on it. It did finally sucked in my Strike King 3X Zero White stick bait. (I love this bait, i tried to cut off a little bit off the end with my finger and I couldn't because it is so elestic~ yet super soft. This plastic is just amazing durable and super soft) I'll upload my pics later.
