Keep an eye on those bunks Bruce, I once had one break on a trailer that was only 5 years old. Luckily it was at our trailer park when I was putting the boat in the water so wasn't a big deal. Wouldn't be as much fun if one broke going down the hiway miles from home. And replacing bunks is a very inexpensive and easy job to do.

Always lousy when they kill the bears when it's not necessary but I spose sometimes they don't have much choice unfortunately. The said they killed the Newmarket bear because kids were on the street going to school but from what I understand the police were there at 6:00 AM when they called MNR. Seems to me they could have been driving around the neighborhood getting peoples attention with the siren and then broadcasting to stay indoors. And I believe that bear was in the area for a couple days so it would seem the MNR would be aware of what was going on and could have been ready to head there faster rather than taking a couple hours. I dunno know, maybe I'm wrong. And Steve, that story about them killing the turkey is nothing short of insane.

I won't be fishing till musky opens on Nipissing in a couple weeks but as always I'll be throwing a very large orange & black bucktail to start.

I used to know a fella who along with some buds was very drunk one night back in the 50's and when they ran out of booze they started searching for more. They came across a bottle of wood alcohol in the garage and being as drunk as they were didn't know the difference & drank it. My friend was totally blinded for the rest of his life from this stuff but he was the lucky one as his 3 buds all died from drinking it.

Thanks guys, I put the gas in the truck this morning and it's running just fine. I also bought new hi-test and mixed in the proper 2 stroke oil then spent another 30 minutes trimming grass and the machine ran perfectly.

Thanks Dan, much appreciated, I was hoping you'd see my post. I figured I'd be safe but just wanted to double check.

Went to the gas station yesterday and got 2 gallons of hi-test for my Stihl 2 stroke gas trimmer, then accidently grabbed the wrong bottle of oil in the garage & mixed in a couple oz. of regular 4 stroke oil. Didn't realize the mistake till after I'd run the trimmer for 20 minutes or so. Hopefully I didn't do any damage to the trimmer engine. Just wondering, rather than dispose of the 2 gallons of gas with the small amount of oil mixed in, could I use it in my fuel injected truck or 4 stroke Yamaha outboard. No where around here to dispose of the gas and I'm certainly not gonna dump it on the ground.

I had aluminum rails with glass panels installed on the front porch of the house but had a contractor do it just because it had to be drilled into concrete. But it's very simple to do yourself if your going into a normal wooden deck and as mentioned just be sure of your measurements before you do any cutting and your done in a couple days. Stain the deck, add in a couple canopies and some wicker furniture and your all set for a summer of laying back enjoying life

If it's a legal fish, why not post it John. I had my 1st musky mounted more than 40 years ago, still have it hanging in the garage, and have posted the pic on here a few times over the years.

I don't fish for walleye but do love Nipissing and hopefully this petition will help to bring the fishery back to where it once was. Good on you for doing this Danny.
