  1. We also trained with Annie for many years on the job and the jokes were endless, but one of the funniest was when the instructor told someone the 1st thing to do is shake her, and ask "Annie, Annie, are your OK" ??, and the student said......Sure that's fine in the classroom, but what do we say in an actual situation if the patients real name isn't Annie ?? :thumbsup_anim::thumbsup_anim:

  2. That's absolutely disgusting !!

You're minding your own business and doing nothing wrong, some punk steals your Jeep, then smashes it up, and YOUR the one that's out the money.

Trouble is, the guys that did it will probably get off with a slap, while your forking over your hard earned money.....what a lousy system we've got :(

Not that it'll help you, but I had a similar thing happen to me about 30 years ago.

Some guy stole a truck and was roaring thru town, lost control and smashed into my car that was sitting in MY driveway while I was asleep. He took off and was never caught.

My insurance paid to repair my car, but I was out the deductible.

Hope things work out for you Brian

  3. One of the main problems with being a musky fisherman is the baits are so darned big, it can be a probem storing and transporting them all the time.

I converted my live well to a bait storage box and usually have anywhere from 70 - 80 bucktails in there, but I also use alot of large boo-tails anywhere from 10 - 13" long and was running out of places for them and couldn't find a decent box to carry them in, so I figured if I can't find what I want, I may as well build it.

Nice easy project to build and the price was only a fraction of what a musky box big enough for these 35 boo-tails and large spinnerbaits would cost me.

    22" X 13" X 14" with 1/4 inch rods to hang the baits on.

The air holes are to allow circulation for the mariboo to dry when I'm done with them for the day.

Still room to add a few more baits.

And I even found some jewellery to decorate the box with :thumbsup_anim:

It'll sit on the front deck right in front of the console and will be much easier now that I've got them all in the same place.

Nuthin fancy, but it's a nice little project to work on and I thought some of y'all may be interested ;)

Next project is finding a spot for all the body baits

  4. If extream cold the navy issues RUM shots so it works for me too.

God Save the Queen, now pass the pint of bitter!!!

A 'tot' of rum was issued to all sailors of the Commonwealth Navies on a daily basis, but was discontinued a couple decades back.

A sad day indeed for all sailors of her Majesties Senior Service :(

At least they waited till after I received my discharge though :thumbsup_anim:

  5. Jim, Jack is indeed a good person who I've had the pleasure of meeting a couple of times. That carving will be a great reminder of your dog for many years to come.

Awhile back I mentioned on this board that I was in the market for some plexi-glass and right away Jack PMed me to say that he had some he wasn't using and I was more than welcome to it.

Some real decent folks hang out on this board ;)
