  1. I went back in history and found it, it's in English for me.
  2. Could you not just go up one size with the screws, or if screwed into wood put some toothpicks ends into the holes and reinsert the screws, that's what I've done in the past for stripped threads in door hinges etc.
  3. So I follow this nostalgic music site and they come up with some gems going back into the 60's. I had Dire Straits Live in Basel 1992 video concert playing in the back ground on the pc while I wandered around when this classic came through and I paused the concert to watch the whole 9 min of the most amazing harmonies ever. I hadn't seen it for a couple of years at least and it's always amazing. Enjoy..
  4. Looking good. In regards to files there is a huge variety of jewelers/needle files sets out there that I think would fit the bill for what you do. Having used them for 35 years in the aircraft instrument repair business I can heartily attest to their usefulness. They come in 6 or 12 piece sets with a medium,. fine or xfine finishes and single or double cut faces. The best quality ones considering the fine work you do I would suggest you go with Swiss-pattern files, you'll pay lots more for them but you will never regret purchasing top quality. At the least buy a mid range set from a quality name. I don't know if you ever have to make slots in your craft but a slot file is something you may find handy at times. Again, you can go for the best with Swiss made like this for example https://eternaltools.com/products/screw-head-slotting-file I still have mine that I bought back in the 70s Here's the best files.. https://www.mcmaster.com/products/jewelers-files/needle-file-sets-9/ And then there's Amazon. https://www.amazon.ca/s?k=needle+files&adgrpid=1361198090232684&hvadid=85075300630605&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=125283&hvnetw=s&hvqmt=e&hvtargid=kwd-85076111170241%3Aloc-32&hydadcr=24906_13599843&mcid=e310450fd02337b79e75f87155717054&msclkid=6bc4632abfc61e9ac3fb0a011b7eef5b&tag=msncahydra-20&ref=pd_sl_4hs3yt4lc_e Cheers
  5. I'm not familiar with Snowy White but I do Know Gary Moore as a top notch blues guitarist, seen him play a fair amount in a bunch of blues specials with BB King and the like.
  6. Any boogie woogie fans here? Out of the blue just came across this gal Ladyva and hot damn she's good. Here she is with the Barcelona Big Blues Band https://www.facebook.com/reel/865468909236767
  7. Cool, found it on torrents and downloading now.
  8. That's a good deal and generally CTC Maximum products are pretty good quality. Not many reviews to go by but with 2 out of 3 poor reviews I'd be concerned and definitely would give that spindle feature a good workout going by that first review.
  9. I may have mentioned this before but I'm a huge fan of Steely Dan. At least twice a year I go through their entire collection in order of release and I never tire of it. This tune is right up there, the only song I know of where a melodica played by Donald Fagan has a big part.
  10. I just listened to this for anyone who was a Boz Scaggs fan. I had the Silk Degrees album with two of my faves, Lowdown and Lido Shuffle. He's now drifted into the blues genre, one song in particular comes up on my my playlist called Loan me a Dime, here it is with Duane Allman
  11. Lol, I often listen to an oldies radio station and that song just came on. Go figure
  12. The 60's had some damn fine music. To think that this classic from 1964 was recorded in one take and produced in 15 minutes.
  13. The real tests will come when temps reach -20° and lower.
  14. So true, great post. In my case much of this would have been in the 60's. The early 70's were high school days, no smart phones, no cameras, life was so different.
  15. They may not hibernate, but same as bears they go into a state of torpor. Soon as it gets cold out I stop seeing coons around the bird feeders here, but I've had bears at my deer feeders in December.
  16. My bet is big raccoon for sure, head is too small for bear and the colour is a dead give away. I've seen lots of bear cubs up close and they are always black. Plus by this time of year cubs would be much larger than that. Here's a pic from Aug 22, you can add at least another 10lbs two months later with the fall pig out.
  17. That could easily be lack of lubrication.
  18. Big Yes fan. First time I saw them in Ottawa along with Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper July 19 1971 for me they stole the show even though they were the least known of the three at the time. I had 4 of their albums and would have to say they really got me into the British progressive rock scene. Even bought the Rick Wakeman Six Wives of Henry VIII and Journey to the Center of the Earth albums. My wife was an opera singer and professional voice teacher and she was pretty impressed with Jon Anderson's singing voice when I got her to listen to Yes. Here's the set list. https://www.concertarchives.org/concerts/black-sabbath-alice-cooper-yes--5891023
  19. Are you not concerned with barotrauma fishing that deep, specially with smaller ones you would want to release?
  20. Yea that's strange because I listen to a an awful lot of music, but not so much in the genre. I've probably heard them on the radio not knowing the name of the band or else I just plain don't recall.
  21. Never heard them before, not really my style of music anymore but not too bad. Reminds me somewhat of Black Sabbath.
  22. It's not unusual for clarity to suffer once you get past the mechanical zoom and into digital zoom if that's what your camera has, still great pics.
  23. About a month ago I came across a tune that really grabbed my attention with the excellent sax and lead guitar playing. Candy Dulfer is absolutely the best female sax player in the world and one of the best period. She has performed and recorded with her dad Hans, Prince, Dave Stewart, Van Morrison, Angie Stone, Maceo Parker and Rick Braun and has performed live with Alan Parsons (1995), Pink Floyd (1990), and Tower of Power (2014). She is Dutch and all the musicians that play with her are top notch with Ulco Bed really standing out on guitar. Here's one sample of one of her big hits called Lily was Here that's preformed with Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and another tune called Lost and Gone that features Ulco Bed. They play great Soul, Funk and some Jazz with some great covers of many tunes like Pick up the Pieces from Average White Band. I'm at the point now where I'm listening to at least 10 hours of this great music a week. Enjoy these tunes.
  24. Just curious, assuming the unit is temp controlled why bother turning it off if it wouldn't click on anyway with the lower outdoor temps. How large is your space? For instance, in my case come June I turn my setting to cool and set it at 24° and then I don't touch it until the fall. It maintains a humidity level of 50% so it's plenty comfy at that temp. As for those heat pumps, from what I've read and heard the main issue would be heating space enough once the temps get below -20° and specially below -30° which still includes lots of Canada. No doubt the volume being heated matters as well.
