  1. It's breakfast time!
  2. WTG Glen...those are some of the best spinnerbaits I've ever used. I think Jef'll have a booth at the Muskie Odyssey. Should be interesting to see how long it takes for him to be sold out.
  3. If keeping a fish is a problem, there's only one sure way to solve the problem.
  4. Yes, those are the same boats at Lakair (and other Nipissing lodges and camps). You want to rinse you eyes on some of the beauties in the link below. I love that stuff. http://www.portcarlingboats.com/Muskoka%20...0for%20Sale.htm
  5. Yes....that was a good weekend. Top row left to right we have: Marty, AlanJ, GaryV, Muskiestudd, one of Mikeo's sons, then the holy trinity of Kronik, CoolB and (help me out) then Spiel, TJ, Tony (Marty's brother) and Cory Front row, left to right: Garry 2R's,Canadave,MikeO, another of MikeO's little ones, the Dwarf and Kevin. That was the very first and I still remember the great time we had.
  6. Zack, tell Poppa to check his mail once in a while. Thanks.
  7. Yeah, I saw Santa too! Boy, those reindeer must have been eating all week, they looked STUFFED!
  8. Steve. Looking forward to your reports!
  9. Hey, Raheem McHindu! How you be? We will soon have a 'no frills' skin for folks who are on dial up or just plain prefer a quicker interface.
  10. Great thread and report, David. Congrats to you, Steve and Jackson. It certainly sounds like you had a time you're not soon to forget!
  11. It was very nice seeing you again Roger. Dang, there's lots to see in there. I got two 'salties' ...S-10's and I'm planning on powder coating them in glow. Baby Herc, nice meeting you in the fly fishing department also. Maybe we'll see you at the Spring get together.
  12. Richard, do you know what the word "slander" means?
  13. Lew, you should also find size and pitch stamped into the hub of the prop.
  14. What a great report and pics. I'm happy for you Joey. Beauty shirt too! We'll talk later...I want the 'dirt'. BTW, the shirt enhances your fishing jewellery :-)
  15. Whatever powers your boat Roger. I must say I was impressed with all the goodies and quality speakers at the last Muskies Canada Odyssey. A lot of good folks there. I had quite a long trip but for those who live within a 100 or so mile radius, it's a no brainer. Go, you won't regret it.
  16. Well, as a few of you know, I try to make baits with what little spare time I have. It's relaxing. I've been meaning to go out and find a BBQ rotisserie motor to build a drying rack for the baits after they're painted/clear coated. I have not found the time to go out looking for a motor but today I was in the basement looking for something or other when I spied two sealed boxes with the words " Rotiss-Kebab" printed on them. WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO! I'd forgotten that the last two Jenn-Airs I bought came with their own rotisseries but I'd never used them. They were just not good enough to cook with but too good to throw out. I opened them up and found exactly what I needed. Stainless encases motors with the rods and everything else! Now all I need is time to build a couple of drying wheels. I know this is not front page type news but HEY...I'm so used to throwing things out then needing them the very next day that this is quite the happening for me :-) Here's what they look like.
  17. I just did a head count and there are more people at an OFC get together than a Leafs game.
  18. So, what's your point?
  19. Are these going to have the 6" transducers?
  20. Peter, some folks will whine that the whole world is against them. Talk to them 20 years later and they're still whining that they can't get ahead. It's everyone elses' fault. I too have watched my wife cry over our losing everything. You pulled out of it Peter (and Charmaine) and I'm proud to call you my friend. You now have a great advantage over lotsa folks in that you've been through the mill and better still, you did it with a partner and family. That experience will make you almost untouchable. You, Charmaine and the whole family have the greatest Chistmas. All of you, take your time and savour the experience that you worked so hard together to enjoy.
  21. Nothing says Christmas like a flat screen fireplace.....
  22. What you have there is a 7.2 AH 12 volt battery which is the same as used in home alarm systems. Your home alarm system (if you have one) is constantly being charged. Just swap batteries before every fishing trip.
  23. A masterpiece indeed. If I could afford a table like that, I could afford a larger room to put it in. Most of the dinner guests would be spending dinner under the table checking out the mechanism.
  24. Just wonderful, Roger and friends! That's a keeper for sure....sounds like something we should all learn for around the campfire at Lakair (or wherever). Great stuff. Thank you for posting it Roger.
  25. Thanks for posting that......this time of the year, lotsa folks try to jump the gun and become statistics. Be safe out there.
