I have a 13 gal. internal tank on the Princecraft and the new 60HP 4 stroke and so far on 4 outings I've put in half a tank. Break-in is more expensive because of the constant change in RPM that they recommend.

What a relief when the 4th Saturday in June arrives.

Brian, I saw grp 31 Energizer deep cycle batteries in Walmart last week. I don't know what they're like. My grp 31 batt is a Trans Canada battery. I just upgraded to a 24 volt bowmount and couldn't fit 2 group 31's in the hatch so I bought two GRP 27's.

Lew, I think I remember that you have a Lowrance. Mine will shut itself down if the battery it's connected to (in my case the starting battery) goes below 12V. It's made that way to enable you to still start your motor should you have left the unit on inadvertently. I guess that's the same answer that everyone else has given you.
