  1. Buddy just called me and said they charged him $125.00. Your not going to believe me, the guy he sold his boat to found a link and it was free. Man is my buddy pissed. Now how's he going to get his money back?
  2. He tried there Albert and they told him he had to do online.
  3. Far as I know, like said above, pressure treated will affect the aluminum, unless they have charge the chemical.. Marine plywood is made with no knot holes inside the layers of the sheet.
  4. Vessel licence transfer. Buddy just bought a used boat and wonders where and how much to get it done. He was told it had to be done online at a cost of $365.00, that's not including taxes of purchase.
  5. Was another great swap. I think a bigger place is needed. Man was it packed with people. Met so many buddies, forgot to buy anything LOL. Left and went to a Turkey shoot in Lynden.
  6. That is sad news, I meet Lorne a few times at the Waterfront Trust kids fishing day, he had a both set up. Saw it in the Spec but thought it was someone else. https://www.thespec.com/announcements-obituaries-memorials/obituaries-death-notices/8339025-morley-lorne-patrick/
  7. Brian you cease to amaze me with your videos, great watch buddy and choice of music. Never did make it up but have been talking to a few buds doing the soft water Whitie jig thing later on.
  8. 4 flat tires in the making Side cutters on the stems.. Problem with this is you make waves, next will be NO Parking signs.
  9. Way to go guys, looks like it will be a boat Whitie trip for me.
  10. I was in the big party hut and you know what they say, What happens in the party hut stays in the party hut Didn't catch much but had a great time. Memories come to mind.
  11. Wasn't many fish caught but we all had a good time At least there was one fisherman that new how to catch
  12. I know Johnny, was a few on social media and the article in the spec etc. Was bound to get out anyway John, I hope they can nip it in the but and get the low limit introduced.
  13. Saw that picture on another site Gmech, If you look closer a smaller fish is shoved under the gill plate. But hay have seen some scary looking fish before, like this Walleye we caught at Quinte few years back. They told us it's still ok to eat, Id want to see that person sit down and eat it. But your picture looks convincing just the same.
  14. Don't forget the regs state same rules as Quinte slot limit on the Hamilton Harbor
  15. That white area is a dead zone no oxygen. High concentration of ammonia. Was told no fish will live in that area
  16. I Ice fished today close to shore behind Leander and was 41 FOW. theres spots that are almost 90 FOW Eating fish out of the harbor your taking a chance. With all the pharmaceuticals dumped in the harbor from the out of date sewage treatment plants in Dundas and Hamiltons Woodward plant Windamier basin, beware. Estrogen, Steroids, Birth Control, etc. are just a few that they mentioned in the Spectator dumped every day in the harbor. The Pike in the harbor do not produce because they found they had both female and male hormones. We've been catching these Walleye for awhile now but I release all. Few of us have been keeping it quiet worrying about being over harvested. They have to introduce some sort of 1 fish limit or slot, or the Walleye and other fish will be fished out. The fish safe eating guide book the they put out says they are safe to eat but they only check for PCBs, Mirex, Mercury. Not pharmaceuticals. So if you want to take a chance eating fish from the harbor, go for it. Near future you might have to sit down to pee.
  17. TJ as soon as I saw your reply peanut butter and jam makes me think of the Crons on his fishing shows and his shore lunch, wasn't a shore lunch without canned spaghetti. But nothing wrong with a peanut butter and jam or a good newfie steak sandwich. Got to be Maple Leaf Wax Bologna cut thick Saw a guy cooking sausage wrapped in foil on his Mr. Heater, worked great.
  18. I snell my own hooks, I use #6 egg hooks and line I use fluorocarbon. I don't use as mentioned above Pickerel Riggs because of the metal stand offs plus some come with big hooks. Nothing wrong with them but I like a little more stealth as they say, less hardware.
  19. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, take a few snelled # 6 hooks and bell sinkers. Tie a couple snelled hooks above the bell about 10 inches apart, case a few Whities around put a snell hook on your bell sinker on bottom all baited with minnows. Few 5 gallon buckets to set your rods on, they can be used to carry your stuff and fish. Far as eats go, I make easy heat up on the stove Kaiser bun with ham and cheese wrapped in foil, flip a few times near the burner, don't burn your lips with the cheese MMMM. Cut kielbasa up and in foil heat up on burner. Think finger food. easy peasy. Beverage, well up to you
  20. Thanks Bruce you beat me to it. See you and Terry there Bro.
  21. Free parking and $3.00 to get in, See you there bro. I have a great time at the swap, I go just to meet old friends and shoot the I can't remember it I saw anything
  22. AH Fuddle Duddle. He's selling the Walleye that I had to let go, after spending $2000.00 last week renting a hut etc. Supporting the economy I guess. Sounds fair to me. Had to eat fish sticks from Thailand, Vietnam, from the store when we got home. MMMM
