I also vote bunk trailer.....but here's something to REALLY think about....is the trailer offered "just" big enough for your boat as that is what most dealers do in order to keep the price down...I went 2 trailer sizes larger then what they offered and my rig is going strong for 25 years. I removed all my center rolls and replaced them on the HARD yellow plastic/rubber rolls...I also grease said rollers when needed (about 2-3 years)... I also once a year spray a whole can of silicone spray on the bunks...this makes it VERY EASY to launch and retrieve by myself....one other thing...pull the brand new wheel bearing and GREASE them...they use VERY little grease from the factory. Because the guy's a jerk and not what I have ever experienced with Canadians....I called to express my opinion with him and the radio station...maybe if enough do the same he will be shut down or at least forced to apologize to Canada.

It's long story how I found this place in the summer years ago....had reservation at another place in PQ and it was BAD so we left, stayed the night in North Bay and called around the next morning...found Brooks Cottages and asked to inspect the cottage before rent...no problem the owner said...one peek inside and we rented it for the rest of the week with the whole tribe in tow...caught limits of walleyes 4 - 9 lbs right near my boat dock.... But anyways when the bride and I went back a few years later ice fishing I had on 3 large fish but didn't land ANY fish.....but I have to say we didn't fish that hard at all....Chris the owner was great taking us out in the morning, bring us back in for lunch and out again after lunch... You have wood burning stoves to keep warm and I mean WARM....it's because of their wood burner that we have one today in our home.... There is suppose to be pike and lake trout in the lake but I didn't catch any in the summer or the one time in the winter.....we keep talking about going back....my wife who never ice fished really had a good time in the VERY COLD temps we had....she was outside making snow angles while I ice fished......I think she had too much COLD beer...LOL I just wish this place was closer and easier to get to for us. The bride and I went here about 3-4 years ago....we had a very good time and she never ice fished before and has asked to go back a couple times. And WHO'S for more government...

Makes me feel much better about my government....NOT Went through a bunch of Bull trying to get our enhanced drivers license 2 years ago.... Went to the Dept of Motor Vehicles which is only 2 miles away in Cheektowaga.....CLOSED because it was a Monday and they close Mondays but open a small satellite office 5-6 miles away at a community college (how the hell is this better)...but we call on our cell phone to make sure this satellite office offers Enhanced Drivers License...automated voice says ALL offices offer EDL's...so we head there....stand in line for our turn...SORRY satellite office DON'T do EDL's...So now we head in the opposite direction to Downtown Buffalo......grrrrr....pay for parking down there....almost against my religion....wife and I tell them we want to extend our new EDL's (pay extra) so they will be good for 8 years like they have been saying in the Buffalo News because NYS is upping the cost in May....this way we will save money....the nit wits behind the counter say we can't do this...we insist...finally a supervisor says YES you can........my wife's current driver's license is in her name (my last name) but her birth certificate is in her maiden's name.....NO PROBLEM....SECURITY my ass.....just a whole waste of time and MONEY...paid more money and now I have a Enhanced Driver's License that is NO more secure then my old driver's license. Maybe I just should of marked my old driver's license with a magic marker the way a REAL EXPENSIVE EDL looks....

Sinclair buddy....when you get old and start smelling like a fish even though you haven't caught a fish in a week or two you will realize that what Dad, uncle Bob or Gramps taught you was the local HERITAGE of that fish...and that's a good thing...if they said it's a pickerel, then be proud of that name because it give you identity of where you are from....that should always be important. Someday you may or your grandson may say, I caught a limit of pickerel, even though he/she was fishing somewhere in the USA and another angler with a Canadian background over hears that statement and a bond will be formed......to me that's a great thing...we are losing way too many heritages as it is now...don't push that process...PLEASE. Pickerel, Walleye and Yellow Pike are the same fish (meal)..Blue Pike are extinct but a cousin of the Yellow Pike ..now chain pickerel is different as already explained here....but what about galvanized pike...

For my money if I had to choose a QB to command my playoff team and taking everything into consideration including off field behaver, then Peyton Manning is heads and shoulders above every other QB in the NFL right now. Too bad other players don't have his ethics and manors. Today in the NFL most players are about themselves...LOOK AT ME..LOOK AT ME... I made a tackle or caught a pass for 8 yards, forgetting about all the bone head plays they did that put their team behind by 20 points or more. JUST PLAY THE DAMN GAME ALREADY.
