Actually, i was raised catholic. So i feel comfortable telling you to keep your pseudo-religious psycho babble to yourself. None of it is relevant here as it pertains to one man pissing on the lifestyle and choices of individuals as it pertains to their sexual interests.

So, rather than logically being able to surf through a section that keeps all trip reports, its easier to just google trips? I'm interested in easily finding trip reports that might be 20-40 pages deep, not stuff that might have new content. I dont think i've ever been on a forum (of any kind) that doesn't have categories and sub-groups which not only organizes and simplifies navigation, but also adds to enjoyment. Why not just delete inactive threads after a day then? Do you wake up sweating with the cold fear that one day this forum might have sub-categories? Jesus, don't fear the unknown so much. The future isnt that terrifying.

Any chance we can get a subsection or whatever its called just for Trip reports? I enjoy reading them, but the older ones are buried under bad jokes and songs people are listening to. It would make it easier to enjoy. From the shire, Frodo

In a ziplock we put the fish (white meat) with olive oil, cilantro, lime salt pepper etc. for a few hours. Fry it up and plate. We add in a bowl: mayo, plain yogurt and hot sauce (stir it all up obviously) On the side: tomatoes and avocado mashed up. Eat. Sleep. Be merry.

Hey all, After reading the thread that was locked because someone asked about a shore fishing spot, i tried to find the rules, but couldn't. I'm a bit confused as whats allowed or not. There are numerous threads about people naming fishing spots, or asking for spots, within a certain driving distance from wherever they may be. These are answered all the time. Was it because he was new? How many posts does a guy need to have that answered? 20? Seems kind of Arbitrary doesn't it? Heck, if he was like me, he probably was on here frequently as a guest for some time before joining. Maybe to him it felt like he could ask that question because he'd been on here so often before he joined. There a numerous threads with detailed trip reports, with names, roads travelled and cabin features. I like reading these reports because they are trips im likely never going to take, so i get to live vicariously through them. Some of them are so detailed i wonder if the author gets something in the form of kickbacks from the lodge. ( Frankly, i don't care if they do. More power to them) If so, i'm a bit confused as to why that would be allowed, but someone saying they caught a fish on a particular lure (because of sponsorship or whatever) gets scolded. I understand, this isn't really a public forum and that whoever runs it, moderates it, does so at their own discretion.

Fish cleaning stations are a good place to gather decent fertilizer. I too would like to know the location of them. AND, if any of you out there would lend me your truck for an afternoon...don't worry, i will hose it down.

Do i seriously need to explain how the 9.9 might require less energy to operate than a 200hp? This has always been my favourite argument from the people who see themselves as outside of the problem...that because some other thing exists and uses gas (9.9) then by extension, the 200hp is no different. Why don't you make a GoPro video of you gassing up and driving around the lake? I'm sure it would be a hit. So you don't think there should be a central body that could oversee all tournaments to make sure that no 1 lake is being fished too much, especially with multiple tournaments at the same time? Christ, i need a permit to use a baseball diamond for an hour practice, surely something can be put in place to limit tournaments in ontario. That's fine you dont't see it that way. Don't mistake my disagreeing with you or having this particular opinion as zero knowledge. As i said previously, i used to own a bass boat and fish tournaments. I know first hand about all of it.

There really should be an official body that oversees tournament schedules throughout Ontario. And a special horsepower levy/tax on anyone using over a 9.9...
