  1. Call Benson's auto parts in Kirkland They're good there too.. they'll deliver the parts right to their doorstep.. even in the bush. problem is probably the lock cylinder & key assy. on the column. or a remote possibility of it being the fender mounted solenoid . maybe even a ignition module. if you get the truck back to town come seee me on monday at the store in Sturgeon. Good Luck. p.s the Walleye are biting on rapalas by the dams after dark
  2. I KNOW HOWYAZ FEEL I ONCE DROVE 4HRS FROM NOWHERE ONTARIO INTO THE BUSH TO FIND OUT THAT MY GAS TANK AND COOLER OF BEER HAD STAYED AT HOME. I GOT HOME AND UNKOOKED THE BOAT TO GO GET LUNCH .. I THEN DROVE AN HOUR NORTH .TO REALIZE THAT MY BOAT WAS WITH MY GAS TANK AND BEER NEEDLESS TO SAY I DID'NT GET MUCH FISHIN' IN BUT WHEN I GOT BACK MY WIFE HAD THE BIGGEST SMILE ON HER FACE..SHE'LL HANG THIS ONE OVER MY HEAD FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. WE THEN SAT DOWN FOR A COLD BEER. IT COULD ALWAYS BE WORSE .. WE HAD A GUY SINK HIS TRUCK AT THE LAUNCH LAST YEAR 2002 F250 4X4 ..STANDARD..SOMEHOW POPPED OUT OF GEAR AND ROLLED DOWN THE LAUNCH WHILE THE CAPTAIN WAS TYING OFF HIS BOAT..35 FEET OF WATER

  11. WE got back around 7:30 tonight and did it again!!! this time a little longer..1hr 8 fish biggun was 21" but the other 7 were over 15" and uner 18" Randy
  12. you can also use a color matched spray on bedliner ... add a little silica sand to your mixture for no slip propertys. shoot it with schutz gun it's for undercoating .. a lot of tourist ops. are doing that now. it works too.. spray off to clean and u/v resistant.. good luck! Randy
  13. EH! you can go to any floor covering store and ask for silicone based carpeting. we just put some on my deck.. and that's whats gonna go in the boat in a few weeks. good stuff. in door .. out door burns easy in the sun. .we bought ours at Home Depot. Randy

MMMMMMMM walleye. I'll post pics. when i can figure out my camera... something to do with a program malfunction. Randy. ...
  15. Congrats" i 'm glad you tried Manotick ... did you fish at the dam or the bridge ? try fishin the bridge on the west side with a big chub on a 2/0 hook suspended under a bobber it worked well when i lived there.. KEEP A WET LINE... Randy.
  16. A NOOSE!!!! THAT"LL WORK EVERY TIME!! really. good luck fishin. RaNDY
  17. nice catch Man! was that first eye dead for a while ? it looks pretty pale .. or does it come from deeper clearer water ? Randy
  18. SORRY DUDE!! Good tip I did'nt know I just graduated from newbie to minnow tonight... I'LL try that next time thanks... HOSER! Randy
  19. Use 8-10" in stained water , 12-15" in clearer stuff. uni knots work well.. if your using a snap swivel at the other end. if you're using a spinning type of lure I suggest a ball bearing barrel swivel to join the two lines with regular clinch knot. you may tie direct to a non spinning lure ..like a plug aor jerkbait.. well balanced minnow/jig combo. ZZZZZZZZING!!! GOOD LUCK ! Randy
  20. I've used it and like the stuff .. but it's nothing to write home about I have'nt caught or lost more or less fish because of it..I 've returned to using Spider Wire on my Baitcast outfits and good'ol Trilene XL and XT on my spinning outfits.. i use my leftover Vanish Fluoro. for leaders in rocky areas for Walleye. I say it's user preference. GOOD LUCK FISHIN!! Randy....
  21. usually in the spring smaller 3/8 oz spinnerbaits work well..add a trailer they bite short .. 5/8 oz little cleos work well in spring too. larger 1/2- 3/4 oz spinnerbaits with a trailer.. and a twister for good measure.. in a red/wite colorado or a darker color work well for bigger fish. but remember a big one over 30" is usually a female ....10-20 :1 ratio for the males. so fishing will be slower. try a X-Rap..it's been working pretty good for me. williams wabbler is a good spoon for all sizes of pike { fire tiger } is my preferred color it's a light lure and can stay above the weeds, and rarely twists your line while trolling attached to the right leader or swivel if you're brave enough! or even a minnow on a 3/0 hook suspended under a bobber [ if you're lazy] works pretty good in the shallower areas, seems to produce above average sizes. i use these techs. for musky... i just downsize a bit for pike ... works well. GOOD LUCK! Randy
  22. EH! Welcome Tinman!... try fishing the dam in Manotick .. your daughter will love it lotsa perch i used to live there .. or even the under bigger bridge in Manotick has produced some big pike for me... more people should go into the live chat that way it'll be faster to say hello.. or give out info. Randy.
  23. there's no way i'd trade a days fishin with my kids.. kids who hunt, trap and fish don't mug little 'ol grannies. makes for more adjusted kids. i agree.. Randy
