  13. I dropped the kids off at school and went to pick AverageJoeFishing to hit the Sturgeon River. We were on the water by 09:00... bite was kind of slow today and the wind was a bit swift as was the current...we managed 10 Walleye and kept 7 averaging at 14" With the occasional "hand sized" Rock Bass and a few Smallies.. All in all It was a great day. Not bad for fishing in Downtown Sturgeon Falls. Randy

  18. Glad you had a good time!!!! Great Wolf is AWESOME for the family but you're right the fishin' stinks..... I was gonna try a spinnerbait from the foot of the waterslide for the Curvy Redheaded Bass.. but the lifeguard seemed to have a problem with that. Memories for the kids!! sometimes torture for the parents but well worth it in the long run.. Randy
  19. AverageJoeFishing, brought me out roughly 2 miles north of the dam..to 4 or 5 different spots. We caught fish all day and went through almost 6 dozen minnows and a few breakoffs (surgically precise) from pike (boated 2 or 3)and also caught a whack of smallies.. I tells ya what, he knows Wickstead 150 x more than I do. He's a Sturgeon Fallsonien that can't wait to post here, I guess that he's still being screened.. signed up lastnight. Randy
