  1. NAW and I fished in the rain on the ice once. That was fun.
  2. Wow. I watched the whole thing and felt my blood boiling. The guy throws the fish back into the water (he guy harassing the fishermen). One guy calls the cops. I hope the guy stuck around and was charged for what he did. I honestly can't believe the nerve of some people. The police statement: When the officer arrived, the protesters were already getting in their cars. The primary concern for the officer was to restore the peace and the officer didnt witness any disorderly conduct or criminal activity. The officer documented the call as well as the names, addresses, and auto tag numbers of the principal protesters. Whether one agrees with the message or not, any group has a right to free speech in a public park. The officer acted appropriately under the circumstances. So these people are going to keep doing this because they got away with it. Feel sorry for the guys who were fishing. They'll probably never go back there.
  3. Yeah. Not camping up there can make it tricky. All the best. Hope you get to go in sept.
  4. I've never had success up there. I'm told there are walleye and bass in Cyprus but they only hit sunrise and sunset. Whenever I go up there I avoid the fishing. So many other ways to enjoy.
  5. Spinnerbaits, topwater, sankos and crayfish coloured cranks. Or you can pick any one of those and do just fine.
  6. Oh man. Looks like a blast. And good choice of tunes as well. Enjoy the travels.
  7. Halp everyone! Have tomorrow off and need a spot to fish out of a kayak that is 90 minutes or less from the CN tower. Not island lake (bass tourney just happened) and not heart lake. (Worked there all weekend.) PM suggestions please?

I'm thinking my next day off could be the spit or frenchmans. For some reason I always have a tough time around TTP.

  8. Like the pics bud. Usually I'm sneaking off at work to see your reports and the vids use too much data to watch. Love the reports either way.
  9. It's funny, come fall it clears out. Fish head out into the 'deeper water (15 ft max) I've figured out the lake but I've never figured out why. It bucks a lot of logic. I'm also told I missed out. This spring with the water high I was told it was holding some monster walleye and muskie before the water temps warmed up.
  10. Yeah bud. The 25 was in about 2 hours. Gf and sister don't have the patience. So numbers ovef size. This was also before the storm.
  11. Middle one is a Beno! My grandfather used to love those.
  12. The girlfriend, sister and I caught between 20-25 smallies this weekend but not one was in the 3-5 range. That is a honey hole to say the least.
  13. It's almost better to see others catch fish then catch them myself. I love the smile that my girlfriend had as she reeled in her first big small mouth tonight. Priceless.

Got about 30 in total this weekend in about 3 hours of work. My sister landed 10 this morning. Was great to see her and Sara bringing lots in.

Did they give you any tips lol....but that is great to hear that you all had a blast

  14. Hello friend. My best bet I can tell you is to go to Heart lake in Brampton or island lake in Orangeville. Rent a boat from the conservation authorities and explore the lakes. The rental prices are reasonable and the fishing can be good with a little luck. Have a good opening weekend.
  15. Off the dock in Quinte. Nothing yet except 1 stubborn American eel.
  16. Fisher pete showed me the recipe to success. A nice fillet of white sucker with a circle hook through it works wonders. I've also heard they like spicy stuff.
  17. Montreal gets Druin. Heck of a deal. Who can tell me about the kid they traded away?
  18. Sens make their first smart move of the offseason not re-signing Chris Neil. GM claims 'bag of pucks' will do better job. Then signs bag of pucks to 7 year $56 million dollar contract with no movement clause.
  19. Phaneuff refuses to waive his no trade and now Ottawa has to protect him. Haha. Maybe he is a double agent all along.
  20. Sadly it's the time, not the effort. Between a 6 day work week and a girlfriend who treats me real well and likes to spend a lot of time together I don't get out as much as I used to a few years ago. Pretty sure I'll be able to cross a lot of the fishing ones off.
  21. Haven't heard a single Pens or Nashville fan complain about the stadium being too far or prices being too expensive.
  22. Oh right. Matt reminded me of one: Watch the Leafs lift the cup with my dad.
  23. Thanks. You'd be surprised how hard that last one is to accomplish. In the younger generation not a lot of women want to have a kid and the ones that do, I don't want to have them with. I think I have found the perfect lady now though.
