Sounds like nothing is going on. lol its so funny, now they have stopped analyzing trades that didn't happen and are analogizing why there were no trades and they all wasted there time.

Carter Ashton...Not a bad prospect in a few years.
-
Keith aulie to tampa... for what? noone knows yet.

I am a bit miffed that burke decided not to make a few deals. Its pretty clear to everyone that without giving up much we can plug a few holes.
-
Burke was offered a first rounder grabo. After last night washout of a game the leafs have gone from buyer to sell monday everything willbecome clear. If the leafs dump gustaf and grab they are selling, hopefully they can get a few good draft picks, I would think gustaf and grab won't re sign and burke will move them both and pick up a goalie in the ufa season. Hopefully they can pile up a few more draft pickss and use them as bait to get a big center.

Clearly a story here...

Ever notice how the further north you go the fatter the girls get? Ha Ha... anyway, spent the day out with Tim Hales ice fishing huts today. I am not big on using guides because I just like to discover the places on my own, I find that being half the fun. I went out with a group of guys today, and I was very happy with the experience. Had tonnes of minnows, the huts were nice and warm, tey were ready and waiting for use to load up our stuff with no waiting around. Everyone that worked there was very plesant and friendly, and without asking they even went out of there way to ensure we got a nice group photo at the end of the day. The huts had nicely padded seats and they were very clean. Oh yah, and they put us on some fish. Our group of 6 caught about 100 or more perch we kept about 30 of the decent sized ones. As a special treat we had a sarm of about 30 or 40 cisco attack us near the end of the day. We tried to not catch them but it was impossible. everytime we dropped a minnow down they attacked like pack of hungry sharks. We could see the swarm clear as day. Unfortunatly only 3 of us had the experience as we were in 2 huts and the other didn't see them. All in all great day. Perch were caught in what felt like about 20fow, Various jigging rigs tipped with minnows, some dead sticks, a few pickeral rigs, I was acatching on non minnow jigs, and spoons. I hope everyone has had the chance to get out for some ice fishing this year... BTW I am NOT in the least associated with the outfitter, as I have never even heard of him before. So take this as an unbiased review and two thumbs up. Now lets hope burke can net ice a nice catch on Monday, right now the leafs are floundering.....

only thing i could find on bass pro is this.. Charges of racial discrimination by the EEOC On September 21, 2011, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) filed suit against Bass Pro. According to the EEOC’s suit filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division (Civil Action No. 4:11-CV-3425), Bass Pro has been discriminating in its hiring since at least November 2005. The EEOC’s suit alleges that qualified African Americans and Hispanics were routinely denied retail positions such as cashier, sales associate, team leader, supervisor, manager and other positions at many Bass Pro stores nationwide. The lawsuit alleges that managers at Bass Pro stores in the Houston area, in Louisiana, and elsewhere made overtly racially derogatory remarks acknowledging the discriminatory practices, including that hiring black candidates did not fit the corporate profile or customer demographics.[44] The EEOC also alleges that managers at some stores retaliated against employees who expressed opposition to discriminatory practices and may have either fired or forced the resignation of others.[45] Bass Pro Shops issued a statement denying the allegations and maintaining that the company had cooperated fully with an EEOC investigation.[45]

yowzers, cuts his hand at home with a kitchen knife and out indefinately?Gustafson for karlson straight up. We would have to have him throuroughly cleansed by virgin nuns in blessed holy water from The Don river before he would be allowed to put on a blue and white. This injury reminds me of the time Kelly Gruber was out with an injury when he stubbed his toe on his dock. If its a bad cut on his catching hand I would imagine it'll take at least a few weeks to heal up enough to catch a puck. I would imagine he cuts with the same hand he holds his stick with.

So how's a trade sound for gustafson sound now. Too bad he is injured but here comes the slide for the sens. Maybe they will grab turko...
-
Well it serves bass pro right for treating so many of its customers so poorly.

Anyone have the details on the rod trade in? -
Start a thread about the sens and see how many replies you get. rofl. he may be good but he is wearing the wrong colors for anyone to care about accept the 18 fans the sens have. lol

I am going out with a group with tim hales this weekend. Hopefully he can put me on some perch as this may be the only ice fishing trip i get to go on this winter. Been so busy, and the lack of good ice has been sad.
-
I am feeling a bit daring, can anyone point me in the direction of about 1.5 inches of ice?
-
I would think the mosquito season will not be that bad this year.
-
I would rather let in the good honest goals by the other team than weak goals any day of the week. This may sound stupid but I would trade that kovalchuk breakaway save for one of any of the weak goals. Did you see lupals face? Its a heart breaker to lose on a bad flub goal like that.

The goaltending has not been very good. If it was there would be one goalie playing. Reimer isn't a starter yet. Gustaf still let's in the weak ones almost every game. The leafs need to ride one guy and pick up a vet goal help him in the offseason. Reimer has term and the contract. Schnieder is an rfa, maybe Burke can pick him up. Likely not as burke won't do an offer sheet. One guy needs to be given the starts. 20 games left its go time.
