  1. Almost 600 people came through the doors yesterday. Big thanks to all who helped & those who attended. Hopefully some will consider joining the St Catharines Game and Fish Association & getting involved.

  2. I'm little surprised the Larry is holding up, by the way things look up here. On my lake we got enough Crappie for a nice dinner the other day. Funny part was...normally when I catch one I just unhook it and throw it on the ice, so I can gey my bait back down the hole as quickly as possible before the school moves on. That day, I had to make sure the fish went right into the bucket, otherwise they'd swim away...on top of the ice...lol

  3. Well done Cliff. I'm walking out somewhere for my first trip tomorrow. If you are doing another Tim Hales trip and are looking for company please give me a shout.

  4. For me, part of the attraction of a fly-in trip is it takes you back to a time when things were simpler. A chance to disconnect...literally and figuratively. I haven't ever been on a fly-in where catching "enough" fish had been an issue. That being said...we always struggle with the weight limits because the line between "must have" and "nice to have" is a fuzzy one. Although, if someone ever invents freeze-dried beer (with alcohol)...I'll be first in line as an investor.
