  1. My grandparents had a cottage at Long Point...I spent my childhood summers fishing there. Absolutely you can take your Kayak out. The inner bay has a labyrinth of channels/lagoons in the reeds with excellent Largemouth fishing all summer long, and Pike in the spring. On calm days, you can make it out deeper in the bay to the sandbars for Smallmouth. You can also paddle up Big Creek that gets a good run of Steelhead in spring and fall, and also has some big Catfish.

  2. Trip I’m most looking forward to is a trip to the Lake Superior rivers in the fall. Been a couple years since I’ve been able to make it up there.

  3. Well I hope you found some Doug, I went back for more on the weekend but sadly.....none were to be had. I should have bought every package they had, when they had them. Next time for sure! Anyhow, I ate the last package last evening, done the same as last time but with the addition of half a Bell Pepper I needed to use up and a few big cloves of freshly minced Garlic. Oh so goooooood!

  4. Launching isn't an issue, parking is. You won't find any public parking anywhere.

  5. Its a big topic. Sharpshooting for muskies using FFS isn't cool and musky anglers should be making it taboo as a community. Good for the Eagle Lake resorts and hopefully more places do the same thing.
