2kj Posted July 23, 2007 Report Posted July 23, 2007 A friend and I put 9 hours in on Colpoys bay and didn't even get a knockoff. We were trolling silver and blue spoons and rapalas and a blute and white salmon plug. We marked lots of fish but couldn't seem to tag one. I am experienced at down rigging for Lakers in Northern lakes but the great lakes is a whole new ball game. We plan on trying Lake Huron, we will be heading out from the Maitland river area. Any advice on what to use, how far out to go, depth, speed. Any and all information would be appreciated.
Deano Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 Been doing great at 80 feet down in 100 to 150 feet of water. My best luck has been at 3 to 4 kph. Frazer bay, Lake Huron
