Boat Rentals on Lake Simcoe - Cooks Bay

I'm planning on heading up to Lake Simcoe tomorrow and want to take my wife out in a boat for a bit of cruising and fishing.

 

Can anyone recommend somewhere to rent a small boat somewhere around Cooks Bay?

 

Also what am I likely to catch? Perch I presume... but what about anything else?

i don't know...

i went to ALOT of places from holland river up to keswick, alot of the ones that didnt go it anymore, told me of soldier's marina, but even they didnt do it anymore, however there i managed to find harry's bait, they were the only ones i found that still ran boat rentals there. at $75 for 4 hours or $125 for full day i think it was

Not sure about the boat rentals but theres huge monster carp in that bay. Just incase your interested.

Man Harry's getting expensive. Last year it was $50 for 4 hours and the 4 hours started at pre determined times. I would be very careful with those tin cans as they have very little freeboard and swamp easily (that from personal experience)

Its all about INSURANCE fellas. Hell even Tromblys is holding back on Canoe rentals.

It,s just nuts out there.
