I'm looking to install a jackplate on my boat and have almost everything I need. What I don't have is a Mercury lifting ring that screws in at the flywheel to make the lift safe and easy. I'd take the boat to a mechanic but once I get the motor off I may have to do some extras like cables, etc. I've seen them online (stateside) but I'd rather not spend $50++ US for what will probably be a one hour job. I've got a 200hp EFI. Anyone have have one I could borrow/rent? Hamilton area. Thanks!

Are you talking an eye bolt?

If you can find out the thread size, brafasco is your friend.

Yeah, an eyebolt basically. I "think" it's a 1 1/2"-16 NF but I'm not 100% sure. Im really good at buying stuff I'm sure is right!! Lol

I have been looking around. The thread and pitch are usally on the ring.

I only found one that I can see on it.

5/8 "

But Im sure thats the ring thread size, not the thread on the bottom attachment.
