Bluewater Lights ...Live well ?

are you guys actually putting them where they suggest ? an inch from the bottom ? ..kinda makes me cringe putting two holes in the bottom of the live well and expecting a lil bit of silicone to stop it from leaking..any advice

Never put a transducer on a boat same deal.

Of course you cpuld use marine grade epoxy to hold them down

If you need light put it on the lid, you'd be crazy to drill your livewell.

White strip leds for car interiors work for lighting up live wells.

No need to drill.

cut to size, dab of silicone on each end.

just stick them on and run the wires out a hole in the top of the livewell.

tbe are water proof already.

3leds ( aprox 3" strip ) is all u need
