Laurel Creek conservation area

Hey everyone, girlfriend decided to book a site for the august civic holiday long weekend last minute, in my research thus far all I can see is that it holds carp. Is this still true or is that all I can expect? (not that I care what I catch as long as it fights a bit!)

Yep, pretty much my friend. Some catfish also.

There are lots of carp in the creek, I've never fished the lake but I would imagine that it's similar.

Lots of carp and suckers. The odd and I mean rare perch and smallmouth.
