Anyone use the Deeper Smartfisher

Came across this portable fishfinder that runs on a smartphone or tablet, seems kinda neat...has anybody used one?

After a quick Google search, it seems a bit gimicky... For that kind of $$$$ you can get a real fish finder.

I tend to agree, just curious if anyone had tried it out, prolly won't be long before all the bling will be offered by conventional finders ( add on feature where if you wanted that ability to cast a transducer, just push a button to have your dash unit communicate with the gadget etc)

Using a tablet on a boat or at shoreline, is recipe for a ruined tablet if you drop it in the water...lol.
