tourny advice pls

A friend has asked me to help him set up a fishing tourney for his nonprofit charity. As I have never done anything like this before I could use all the advice on everything from the beginning to the end i.e. rules limits prizes and so on and so forth .

I would be looking into the insurance thing first.

 

Im sure Rick can give some good details on this kind of thing.

 

Then again, it is in the States.So maybe insurance is not required.

I used to fish Boys Village tournaments here in Ohio, they stopped having them, I think it was because of insurance concerns. They were well organized and only a couple a year, sad to see them stop them.
