shore fishing at long point

Hey everyone. I am camping at long point and looking for help locating perch, the tough part is I am stuck on shore. Travelling around looking for suitable aaccess and keep coming up empty. Are the local piers my only option?

Don't feel bad I can't even catch the damn things when I'm in my boat!!! lol Bass and pike I'm somewhat comfortable with but when it comes to keeper sized perch I just plain out suck! haha There's a bunch of people here that fish Longpoint but I'm not sure if any of them fish from shore.. hopefully somebody can help you out!

years ago we use to fish under the bridge on the causeway,we caught everything there,crappie,perch,pike,bass,bluegills....just fish under the bridge(might have to squat down to get underneath) minnow and a float....could also try the waterfront in Port Rowan.

Try the pier in Turkey Point or Port Rowan, minnows under a float will get em

There is a pier at Port Dover which isn't too far from Long Point.

I have been fishing everywhere from port glasgow to port burwell. I have caught more cat fish then perch keep trying they will be coming in soon
