bdox Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 According to the MNR site Stocking information for brook trout, lake trout, splake and other species is available in the Fish ON-Line tool. For other stocking information, contact your nearest MNR office. http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/en/Business/LetsFish/2ColumnSubPage/STEL02_165904.html
GBW Posted June 7, 2013 Author Report Posted June 7, 2013 Yeah I found that "tool" but its sooo off its not funny. I guess 1 of us will have to call then as that's what I was what I found so far too. Cheers. G
wallacio Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 A bit north of Zone 17 but here's the list for the Brancroft area. http://home.cogeco.ca/~sparkysfishin/Stock%20Lists/Bancroft%20-%20Mazinaw%202009%20-%202012.pdf
esoxansteel Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 To my knowlege Brook trout are not stocked in 17, other then the Millbrook ponds put and take fishing area, further North in the colder meso lakes of Zone 15 they are, there are many cold water creeks which offer decent size naturals in Zone 17, they are sacred and not likely will be disolved on a public board though, so a little research and a walk in the woods should put you on some speckled beauties.
