nofish4me Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 Two days ago I bought this. I pressed salesman for some sort of discount. I was happy with the deal. I still am, but wife is a shopper and came home today saying that Winners has the same BBQ for $249. I am a man and it would never occur to me to go to "Winners" for a BBQ. So, if you are interested, this was in London On.
Burtess Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 Are you sure this wasn't the "Platinum" edition? The Platinum has the side table but no gas assited start. I find it hard to believe a new Performer for $250 Burt
irishfield Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 I wise tool maker once told me.. "you get what you pay for".. I doubt they are the same quality.
fishing n autograph Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 Weber is a great product. Made in kitchener
woodenboater Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 If this is the Platinum one, that is a fantastic price if one is local to the Forest City. I'd snap that up if I could find that price here.
Burtess Posted May 5, 2013 Report Posted May 5, 2013 Weber is a great product. Made in kitchener Weber charcoal grills are made in Hunley, Illinois. Some Broil King / Broil Mate / Sterling grills are made in Kitchener by OMC (although OMC distributes Weber products in Canada). Burt
fishing n autograph Posted May 5, 2013 Report Posted May 5, 2013 Ok they used to be made in kitchener lol
