jedimaster Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Going out on thursday for some lakers, anyone know what the ice/walk is like out from BBP?
wallacio Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 I was in the general area today (north shore, Oro) and walking is great...snow on the ice is firm, no slush so covering distance was easy.
RickOnt Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 Jedi Couple cracks to navigate, near shore, but not too bad. Once you get out, the travelling is just about perfect! Have a Great Day out There Rick

Yup, I've been out 3 times so far and nothing for me yet. I will try one last time for the season this Saturday. I have been going out of Oro 2, think I might try out of Oro 7 this time. Good luck!!! Burt
douglas_v3 Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 I have been there for 3 times this season as well and just caught one 6 pounds only.Overall, they were quite active to chase lures like spoons, tubes and badboysbut they seldom gave a bite on them. Maybe I should bring some minnows with me next time.Good luck and catch a big one!
